Ortarco Brass Presta Valve Adaptors Convert Presta to Schrader (5 pcs) for Bike Bicyle- Inflate Tire Using Standard Pump or Air Compressor

I purchased these valve adapters to keep on my bike in case I need air and don't have access to a presta pump. These screw on the Presta valve and don't leak, and I can add air with either my floor pump or my air compressor set for a Schrader valve. When I have one of these in my bag, I feel safe on the road.

They do exactly what they're supposed to do; just remember to unscrew the Pesta's lock, and there's no need to tighten the adapter any more than necessary to seal it up and open the valve with the air chuck.

Although there are five pieces in the package, only four of them are usable because one is not threaded and must be discarded in the brass scrap bucket. Would give 5 stars if there were 5 usable, as I'd like one for each bike with presta in case I don't have a presta pump on hand, which I don't have right now.

The adapters were a tad on the long side. As a result, I cut some of the end off with a hacksaw. Furthermore, there are a few O- I bought a box of 0-rings because the rings were bad. I swapped out the bad ring for a new one.

The rubber gasket falls out every time you use it, and you must replace it. If the gasket falls out, you'd better hope you don't lose it, or the adapter will be useless.

These do leak a little on me from time to time when filling my bike tires, but they do a good job 80% of the time.

It is a good deal. You get five adapters in case something goes wrong. I've only used them a few times so far, but they seem to work fine.
