It's stupid to use presta valves on bikes since you have to buy adapters just to add air with your regular My dislike of Presta valves is strong, but these work, so you can actually, you know, fill up your bike's tires with.
As a result of the rubber O-rings With the first use of one adaptor, the ring fell off. My attention was caught by the large leak I heard. Another from the package was used. I filled up the tire without a problem, but I left the adapter on and screwed on the cap as suggested by the manufacturer. Over the course of six days, the tire lost ten pounds of pressure. My only problem will be to remove the adaptor in between air fillups.
The tube didn't seem to fit perfectly on my Presta valve bike tube. I had no trouble getting them to work with my bike pump, but the air leaks caused them to not work.
The pictures are great, I agree. I recently purchased some brand new bikes with presta valves that came with my wife. While I don't care much about what the bike comes with, I would recommend visiting a local bike shop if you plan to fill your tires on the road. All you have to do is screw these adapters on, and you're good to go.
It's my first Norco bike, and it's really nice. After noticing that the valve stem was not the typical size I was accustomed to, I noticed that the car was running hot. The adapters and cables I needed weren't readily available It was interesting to try this one. I am pleased to report that they are working perfectly!.
But, I have to say, I returned it. I had lost my Presta-taining pen so I ordered these instead. Adapter cables for Schrader connections. During the time it took me to place my order and receive these, I found the ones I lost. However, this is a great deal for what you get.
My life is simpler now that I can use one pump for taking care of my bikes, cars, and tractors. Having Woods valves was a headache, at least for me, so this simple conversion was a great way for me to alleviate some of the frustration I had been experiencing.
It never occurred to me that my tires did not have It wasn't until I got a flat and couldn't fill it up with air at the local gas station that I learned. If I get another flat tire, I can tighten up my tires at any gas station because these adapters have given me peace of mind.
