Yes, at the grip/shifter/brake lever portion of the handlebar, this will fit the diameter.

It's a version 2 because it's made of aluminum. The first version of the lever was made of carbon.

Is the MMX sram clamp adapter included in this package?

No, you'll need to order a matchmaker-specific lever, as well as a Shimano-specific lever, as this one is only for bar clamps.
