It's impossible to be certain. I'm 195 pounds and wear a medium spring (rated 140). I've never been close to bottoming out at 180) and it's fine. The spring with the highest rating is for 180 pounders. It's possible that you'll have to purchase the heavier spring directly from SunTour.

New owner of an ebike with a solid seat post, which really smooths out the bumps and small potholes on the bike paths in my city. It's more relaxing to ride when you're not constantly jarred. My bike (Ride1Up 700) came with a 350mm 31. I had a 6mm seat post that I had mounted quite high up, I guess because I have long legs. It was about a half inch or so above the maximum install line, despite the fact that this unit is 400mm long (all the 350 / 31. I didn't think adding 50mm (2 inches) to the post length would make a difference when I ordered this because 6 units were out of stock. ) It might, in fact, make for a more secure installation. In any case, I'm very happy with the Suntour unit's performance and price.
