There were no instructions included with the package. Installing it and adjusting the seat angle are both simple tasks. The old seat post could no longer be raised because it was at its shortest insertion length. This new seat post is significantly longer, and the ability to raise the seat made a significant difference in pedaling efficiency, particularly on climbs.
