I can only say that it made the bike ride much more enjoyable. For my purposes, 20 mm of travel is sufficient.
You'll need to figure out what size post you have by looking at the size (diameter) stamped or written on the shaft of most posts. This is a 27-year-old post. Although the most common size is 2mm, other sizes are available. However, it, or any suspension post with a smaller diameter, will be difficult to come by. Remove your old tube and measure the depth of the tube to determine the length.
There was no effect on pedaling that I could find.
I'm sure it'll work because you can adjust the tension.

My bicycle has recently been converted to an electric vehicle. It's great to be able to ride my bike much further from home, seeing more sights and getting the exercise I need. But there's a problem for my butt: there are too many bumps. This made a significant difference once I adjusted it for my weight. I was even able to get rid of the seat pad I'd been using because it was no longer necessary. br>It arrived in a reasonable amount of time after I placed my order. Today I ran twenty-five miles with no afterburn.
I've had a couple of much more expensive suspension seat posts that were "OK" but not great for the money. This post, on the other hand, outperforms them in terms of comfort and cost, though I believe it could be improved.
rock. The elastomer cracked and collapsed after only a few miles of riding. As a result of that experience, I chose to replace it with a new design. The DMN was my choice because it fit into the bike frame without the use of a shim and performed admirably. In about 20 years, if necessary, I'll revise this review.
The DNM seat post was the most affordable option, and it met my weight requirements without requiring additional or different springs than what came with the post. I've put a few hundred miles on the bike with the DNM post and have had no problems.
I was skeptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Washboard roads are soaked up, and backroad riding is made more enjoyable. I bought another for my wife's bike.
When riding a bike, you have no idea how much you absorb, and I noticed a difference right away after installing it. It was all systems go once I got the adjustments right. I can ride for 40 miles without getting beaten up by bumps. For the other bikes, I intend to purchase two more.
I like how it smooths out the small bumps, making for a much more pleasant ride.
It did exactly what it said it would do. A great addition to a bike with a hardtail frame.
