I'm not sure why the one that doesn't have an air hole is more or less comfortable. If you're a man, the area where the hole is located provides no support, and whatever support it does provide, you may not want it. I really like mine, and if I had to choose again, I'd choose the one with the hole for more airflow. The area that does provide assistance is very pleasant.
Yes! This exact seat for the Lectric XP and XP ST has been recommended in videos on YouTube.
The saddle's springs may interfere with the peloton's specialized saddle mounting system. A non-suspension saddle is your best option.
Yes and no: the saddle's springs will collide with the rad runner's frame. As a result, the seat will not be able to recline completely. It requires an inch or two of lifting. My wife is 5'1" tall, so that 1-inch difference isn't a problem for her. The saddle was too high for her by 2 inches. You should be fine if you're taller than that.

To begin with, I consider purchasing a bicycle seat to be similar to purchasing shoes. Not every shoe is suitable for every individual - It's possible that you'll have to try on a few to figure out which one works best. On my RadMini Step-Up, this Cloud 9 was my first option for replacing the stock seat. Thru e- It was a significant improvement on the bike. br>br>However, it wasn't entirely relaxing. After a half-hour, I'm still sore in my butts. about an hour So I tried a Bikeroo seat that was very similar, and while it felt better at first, it wasn't perfect. After that, it's on to the Velmia wide seat for some relaxed cruising - Although it is slightly narrower and more solidly constructed, it lacks "it. " Finally, I gave one of those extremely-difficult-to-do things a shot. broad and unusual- YLG seats appear to be in good condition. It's intriguing, and it'll work for a lot of people, but it's not for me. It'll have to come back. br>br>A week ago, I went through the collection after installing a Redshift ShockStop suspension seatpost on the bike. I'm back to square one with the Cloud 9 - I've tried everything except the YLG again. The new post in conjunction with this seat appears to be the best option for me (see photo). br>br>However, as I previously stated, your mileage and butt may vary. I strongly advise you to take a seat in this chair. It's extremely well-made. Along with the ShockStop, this is a keeper for me. However, be willing to experiment with other options.
The seat rails were too wide to install on a clam shell type seat mount, according to 20 customer reviews. On this seat, they were also too wide. The seat already has a seat post mount on it, so all you have to do is tighten the two nuts on each side of the seat post mounts until the rails bend in enough to accommodate your clam shell mount. You'll need to tighten and loosen the nuts until the rails are the correct width for your clam shell mount. This is the simplest and most effective method I've found for bringing the rails in straight. Then simply remove the post mounts from the rails and replace them with your clam shell mount. This is a problem that must be addressed. This is the second seat we've purchased from this company, and the first one was defective due to a lack of quality control. I hope this review has been useful in assisting with the installation of these types of seats.
I enjoy riding my bicycle in the open air. However, following knee replacement surgery, I was forced to use an old Diamondback exercise bike for a portion of my at-home workouts. therapy in the comfort of your own home The seat that came with it was worn out and causing pain where it shouldn't have been. As a result of reading the reviews, I decided to go with this one. It's also the first time I've ever had a seat this wide. br>br>On the plus side, it easily fits on the 7/8" shaft and is quick to install. However, I must admit that I am disappointed in terms of comfort. I'm not sure if it's because the seat is so wide, but I've never experienced such discomfort in a new seat. That isn't the issue because the nose and knee angles are both good. br>br>I was going to fiddle with it some more, but it developed an annoying squeak after only a few uses, which was a deal breaker. After I've been on it for about 5 minutes, I'll be able to tell you more about it. It squeaks after eight minutes. Perhaps it would go unnoticed in the open air. It is, however, entirely contained within the confines of the building. It's most likely the springs, in my opinion. br>br>I tried taking it off and on a few times to see if I could re-attach it. Nothing will help if you don't reposition it. And everything is in a tight spot. br>br>So I slid another seat on top of it that I had lying around while I looked for a suitable replacement.
They are extremely heavy, but given that approximately 100,000 men perish each year as a result of poor ergonomic bicycle seats, I believe they are well worth the investment. They're incredibly relaxing. The transformation is huge. The only disadvantage, aside from the weight, is that when hitting bumps, the metal spring models can be crunchy/squeaky. The following table lists the weights of various seats as well as the included seat post:

THE PROBLEM WITH THE WIDE SEAT RAIL HAS BEEN SOLVED. BETTER THAN THE SEAT IT REPLACED (BELL). GOOD SEAT AT A GOOD PRICE. MAY NOT BE AS SOFT AND SUPPORTIVE AS ADVERTISED, BUT BETTER THAN THE SEAT IT REPLACED. THE SEAT RAILS ARE FAR FARTHER APART THAN THEY SHOULD BE IN ORDER TO FIT A CLAMSHELL STYLE CLAMP ON THE SEAT TUBE, AS OTHERS HAVE STATED. ON MOST CLOUD 9 SADDLES, THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM. I FOUND THAT THE BEST WAY TO GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM WAS TO: TAKE OFF THE TUBE STYLE CLAMP THAT COMES WITH THE SEAT, THEN PLACE THE SEAT RAILS ONTO THE CLAMSHELL AND TIGHTEN THE SEAT CAREFULLY BUT NOT TOO TIGHTLY. THE RAIL GROOVES IN THE CLAMSHELL SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY WIDENED AS A RESULT OF THIS. LOSEN THE CLAMP AFTER THAT AND TAKE OFF THE SEAT. REPLACE THE SEAT TUBE CLAMP ON THE RAILS AND TIGHTEN IT AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE ON THE FRONT AND NEAR THE BACK OF THE RAILS (USE A 3/8 OR BETTER YET 1/2 INCH RACHET TYPE WRENCH FOR THE BEST TORQUE). DRAW THE RAILS IN JUST ENOUGH TO FIT THE CLAMSHELL STYLE SEATPOST CLAMP BY DOING SO. REMOVE THE RAILS FROM THE CLAMSHELL STYLE SEAT TUBE CLAMP AND REINSTALL THEM ON THE CLAMSHELL STYLE SEAT TUBE CLAMP. REPEAT THE TIGHTENING OF THE PROVIDED SEAT TUBE CLAMP ALONG THE SEAT RAILS IF IT DOESN'T FIT PERFECTLY. USE THE CLAMSHELL TOP AS A TEMPLATE AND BE CAREFUL NOT TO DRAW THE RAILS TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. IT WORKED FOR ME, AND IT MIGHT HELP YOU AVOID RETURNING THE SEAT. WISHING YOU LUCK.
