The Shimano cleats that came with the pedals broke on the first ride, but luckily I had these solid cleats to use where the anti-slip was needed. Unlike Shimano, which glues(! ), the grip red layer is one piece. ) from the cleats' tips to their bases.
For the past 24 years, I have been riding. Mountain biking has been a part of my life for four years and road cycling has been a part of my life for twenty years I rode 138 miles in a single day. I'm not sure if I received a defective pair of cleats because some of the reviews were positive. These cleats, however, pale in comparison to the Shimano cleats I've worn for the majority of my road riding career. Even with the pedal tension completely loosened, they're difficult to clip in and out of. Because they were inexpensive, I experimented with filing down some areas of the cleats to see if I could make them work. There will be no such luck. I won't be able to comment on the cleats' durability because I'll only be using them on rollers, trainers, and spin bikes; they're not suitable for outdoor riding, at least not for me.
I tried to use these for the first time instead of the yellow cleats once they were worn out, but I had trouble unclipping with my left foot and couldn't unclip with my right foot without tipping the bike over, which isn't ideal when you're on the road and need to stop at a light. I thought it was just a matter of adjusting the cleat, but I've tried four different ways to put it in and still can't get it to fully unclip. I'm going to put on my yellow cleats again.
The cleats seem to be of good quality. Because I haven't had them long enough to know how durable they are, I can't say. Install was simple and straightforward, and the product appears to be good value for money if it stands the test of time.
It snaps into place instantly and isn't difficult to remove.
It's very simple to clip in and out. Pads are not fond of being walked on. Continue to ride your bicycle.
They last longer than regular ones and click out better while remaining secure, so I'll be buying more. )br>CUontheroad CUontheroad CUontheroad CUontheroad CUontheroad.
Then the shimano that came with my new pedals only lasted a month. These are still going strong after all these years.
