Questions & Answers

There are no instructions in the package I received! What is the best way to prevent the unraveling of the end? It is obvious that the stickiness strip is ?

You can find this information on the web. A number of sites with instructions are available on YouTube, and you can watch how they are done in person. The idea is to cover the tape on the bar ends so that when you fold over the tape and put the bar end plug in, the plug holds it in place. You will be able to see the way that it was wrapped easily if you are taking old tape off. In addition, you are wrapping the tape tightly, and it also has a sticky back. In my experience, I have never had bar tape unravel.

Can two bars of tape be purchased for this price? Will I need two if I order one?

For both bars, there is plenty to go around. There is only one item you need to order. As well as the bar endcaps, they manufacture them. There was still over a foot of tape left on both sides of my bars when I was done wrapping them!

How easy is it to keep the white tape ?

Even though I have red tape, I find it difficult to keep clean so I can't imagine anyone would find white tape The oil and dirt on your hands will discolor them, so you ought to pick a color that covers those discolorations the best.

Is there a bar end on the tape?

It certainly does, regardless of whether you believe it or not. All the fillers fit perfectly into the tube and the tube wraps all the way around. This is a very good product for

It is the best grip tape with a good price
5/5

I purchased this tape to rewrap the grips on my road bike. I used to like Lizard Skin tape, but they have gotten so expensive in my opinion that it is simply not worth it. In any case, I was no longer willing to spend over $30 to have the handlebars rewrapped. Based on my search and general reading of other reviews, I believed it to be the best product for the price and, since they are a leader in cycling equipment, I was fairly confident it would be of great With this SRAM tape I am able to achieve a much tighter stretch on the handle bars than I am getting from wrapping them. It's an adhesive tape that keeps the wrap tight as you wind and provides adhesion to layers below it. As soon as the tape is finished, it looks and feels incredibly professional. With this tape, you will have a very cushioned grip and be able to prevent slips The slip happened. I recommend using the gel pads that can easily be purchased to add more padding to this wrap. It also came with an extra palm cushion that can be wrapped into the grip to add more comfort. As well as the bar ends you get a piece of finishing tape. There's only one complaint I have with this tape, which many others have as well. We would appreciate if you could add an additional 12" of wrap so that we do not need to wrap twice when we come up 2" short. In the same vein, one wrap around the bars alone is just not enough for the finishing tape. It is always necessary for me to wrap my product with black tape. All of these gripes I have with this tape are the same as with all of the other wraps I have used, so it does not affect my five star rating. The best bar tape you can buy for the price is this tape, I found Lizard Skin to be very nice, but has come to be very expensive since I used it for the first time. In exchange for providing a review, I did not receive any discounts or free products. The only thing I want to do is make sure others make good choices.

Getting a handle on things is key! I have wrapped a 44cm road handlebar with some Fi'zi tape that was padded on the top section with this tape and I find it to be a good product for a great price
5/5

It is designed to be used with Despite having a limited supply of tape, I completed the wrapping. In order to install the tape, I measured its length, which was 79" or 200mm. The length of this piece is 66 cm. To maintain a good overlap, I continued to fold the tape in half. As others have said, this tape has a lot of flexibility, so rewrapping is easy if you're not happy with the With a fairly great deal of tension, I wrapped my bars with tape, and it did not break as some others have experienced. It is important to ensure that the tape is properly tensioned, as the adhesive on the back of the tape is not designed to hold the tape permanently to the bar. Installation is made easier this way. After wrapping the computer with electrical tape, I wrap it a few more times. Leaving the finishing tape out is not a good idea because it is not flexible and the tape does not lay Several respondents have complained that this tape is easy to get dirty. It is true that the tape has a porous surface, however, the issue can be dealt with. The first thing I've learned is to always wear clean gloves when riding. Every time I ride I wash my hands with hand soap (the foaming kind usually) and rinse my gloves off. If they look really grungy, then I put them back on and wash my hands again. I washed some gloves I had been using for a couple of years for the first time, and the water was dark brown and it took several washings to get it somewhat Secondly, at least once every 2 years I spray the handlebars with a solution of laundry soap once each ride (during the summer, once per week, if it's a few days' ride). I then wrap a clean rag around the handlebar and scrub it by pulling the ends back and forth. The job can be finished with a spray bottle of water or a wet rag. After the tape has been applied, I let it dry naturally. Another benefit to keeping your handlebars and gloves clean is that if you eat during the ride, you'll be less likely to ingest some The tape is a real bargain all the way around. You can ride for a long time in comfort and at an affordable price. I see no reason not to use this tape every time I ride since it is so forgiving there is no reason for anyone new to handling to get it wrong. I would use it for all my rides if I could standardize on it.

The wrap is of good quality
5/5

The pedals were purchased for two different types of That's the kind of quality I love. The "extra" strips served as padding for both my hands above the brakes (I used them on the backs of all four brake levers). If I had to peel back the sticky backing again I would be more confident, as it is forgiving, so I'm willing to do two or three attempts before I got the angle just right (minus the start over).

There are small, scattered flecks of cork color in the black tape. In the roll distance, there is a limited amount of room, but with a reasonably tight wrap, there is an extra 6" available. According to some people, the distance issue is caused by wrapping too tightly or too close together. Definitely recommend the bar tape. Yes, I like it enough to buy it a second time.

It is a very good bar tape! There are a couple of benefits to this tape, namely that it has a good cushion, so it works well if you want a bit more isolation from road vibration, or if you want the bar diameter to be slightly bigger for comfort than the thinner kind
5/5

It is very nice to see such a wide variety of colors. There is only a small section of adhesive on the tape so you must remove the paper covering the tape. The more adhesive there is, the harder it is to apply tape - this should be considered if you have never applied tape before. You have to stretch it before you place it on the surface. There is no adhesion in this tape, so make sure to remove it before you leave home This is a good thing. I found that the SRAM bar tape would come loose a turn or two if I did not have electrical tape handy (but I would have to pick up a roll of tape and get started). The ends can be easily taped down and cut again when it needs to be reapplied. This tape can be stretched even while it is attached to the bar because it has a light adhesive It enables me to apply the product in an even spiral, which makes things easier for me. The tape on my bars is sometimes colored differently depending on the distance between the drops and the top - sometimes it's black at the bottom and white at the top. This gives it a more custom and unique appearance. - (You may braid the tape as well You can find directions on Youtube). For this task, I really like SRAM tape because it works well because it's stretchy and relatively inexpensive. And, because it's a cork tape, it holds up quite well. This is a surface that is easily.
