There is no doubt that this tape is the best I have tried
5/5

The texture is similar to Lizard Skin, except a bit less slick There are some people who've wrapped their bars too thick so they think it's too short. It looks a lot better and feels much better than electrical tape since it comes with finishing tape as well. My favorite Lizard- skin footwear is a bit too padded, rubbery and way too shiny for me, and they don't perform as well wet as they did when dry. The texture and thickness of Supercaz is perfect, and the plugs tend to stay in my bars longer. The color is a bit Since lizard-skin is more bendable and thus stretches more, I felt like with Supercaz I could wrap the bars a bit tighter, which I think feels a lot better, both in terms of comfort and durability.

It is okay to retry as many times as you want
5/5

This tape feels comfortable, looks great, and I love the look of it. The first time I tried this, I made some rookie errors. (1) Double checked my work before applying the finishing tape. - (2) Wrapped both bars in the same direction, which is purely an aesthetic error. Getting it right the first time is tough, but after attempting it more than once you are going to begin pulling the finish off the tape, so just be sure the wrap is perfect (around the shifters, for example). It was not the first time I had removed the finishing tape. I am pleased with the way the wrap turned out although I struggled one a little with it being my first wrap (2) This tape can be forgiven. The important thing is to pay attention so that you do not make mistake after mistake, though I strongly urge anyone not to apply the finishing tape before double checking their (4) The finishing tape is of excellent quality. Despite plenty of wrap to cover the new Ritchey Ergo Max 44cm gravel bike drop bar, it was still quite thin. We'll take care of it. My favorite thing about this wrap is the color. When you are a beginner, it is possible to handle.

The material is tacky and provides good grip, yet is difficult to wrap around hoods and suffers from fraying behind them
4/5

The grip is excellent. Cushioning that is just right. Considering it's thick (3mm) and hard to bend, it's not a good choice. I found this tape to be difficult to Taking a look at it gives a good feeling. A lot of sweat gets on my hands and I get them We were able to resolve the problem in this way. tight edges of the hoods can catch your hands if you tend to ride with your hands behind the hoods a lot. Just after a couple of months, mine are beginning to fray. The best way to make it better would be to make it The Fizik Superlight tacky will probably win me over again. Tape with a thinner weave is more appealing to me. In contrast, if you prefer thick tapes with a lot of cushioning, this might be the best option As well as the bar ends, I love them. It will be interesting to see how long these last before they are too frayed to A later update will be made. I've updated - Having used this bar tape for a little over four months, it still feels exactly like the first day I put it in. In addition to being thick, it is also The place behind your shifters where you start the tape has to be chosen carefully as your hands might catch the tape after shifting and pull it back. In this photo, you can see the edge of the tape, which appears frayed, but it is just the tape edge. To make it tight, you must wrap it tightly. I doubt that it will be possible to tear the Take your time with wrapping. I will buy again* * * Update #2- I just got tired of looking at this tape after a year of use. There was never a problem with it wearing out and it This is good to have if your hand sweats all the time (mine does). There have been a couple of types of bar tape that I've tried since and I wasn't very happy with either one. The only problem I have is with Despite this, it's still a little hard to wrap (as mentioned above). The product was well worth the time and effort. I will most likely buy more from them in the future.

This is cheap
3/5

Well, it's not what you think it is. There are several reasons to buy that tape. One is that it costs a lot. It also looks great and feels The thing that bothers me most is cheap manufacturers. It is too short. This is not my first time wrapping tape, but even if I did it again I would have an expectation how thick I want it to be. Whenever a manufacturer cuts corners here, it really makes me mad. There were no extra pieces in my package that you would receive from other companies. I couldn't cover my breaks and they didn't have the extra pieces. There are some 30 to 40 reviews for the tape It cost them $8 to market the tape (well, they wanted It costs nothing to ship A tape may cost up to $50 and the tape itself may only cost I would think that a BOM of $2 could mean making the item 20" longer. My next step will be to use the DSP tape again.

I have not ridden the bike with the tape installed because it ripped 2 days after installation
3/5

About a month ago, I bought this tape and let it sit on a shelf. In the days following the installation of the tape, I did not immediately ride. On my way to ride two days later, I noticed the tape just below the right shifter had come off. During my life time, I have wrapped about 50 handlebars I am aware of. I have only encountered one issue when I ripped a cheap $5 bar tape in half during installation. There is no reason for me to ride with this tape yet since it's the most expensive tape I've ever purchased. Due to my location, I am unable to return. In response to my letter, the seller has not yet responded, so hopefully I will be able to get my money back. There was one day left in the return window, so I just missed it. It still had life left in it, but I decided to change its color from the previous version. Despite the brown color being amazing, it is weak in durability and lacks any stretch. Being so impressed with a brand I have heard so much about, this is a poor first impression. If this is dry-rotted stock years old, I am wondering how old it is. I will update this review if I am able to get it replaced, right now I am annoyed about this whole situation.

The style is comfortable, however the durability is lacking
3/5

Since I'm always on the lookout for brown handlebar tape to go with my brown leather saddle, when I discovered that Supercaz came in the coffee shade I was delighted. You'll love how it looks and how comfortable it feels. With the tape, you'll be able to grip objects without it feeling overly bulky. I wouldn't recommend this tape unless it's more durable considering the higher price. My experience wasn't as bad as other reviews on here, but you can see the contrast in color between the fresh and low-quality tape in the image below where I lifted the hood. I got the color darker after touching it with my hands and sweat. As long as the darker coffee color hides it, I don't mind too much, but with bright colors, I can see this being a problem. Since I have used this tape for about 600 miles already, it has held up well I do wear gloves when I ride, however. When it comes to wrapping, the tape is not very stretchy, but it's still easy enough. However, I still love the color and the comfort of this item, so I would buy again.
