Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use them with a 22mm diameter handlebar tube?

Yes, most likely.

What is the thickness of them?

They don't have a lot of thickness to them. They are, however, rather frail. They, on the other hand, have excellent grip.

Is it necessary for me to place a second order?

No, each package contains one pair of two grips.

Do these grips work well with small hands?

These are, indeed, ideal for small hands.

Cheap hardware with a nice feel to it
3/5

The grips are comfortable, but I believe the hardware is of poor quality. When I tried to screw down the clamp and attach the grips, the grip was still a little loose. As a result of tightening the screw, the Allen head was stripped. Because the screw has stripped, I can no longer remove or tighten the grip. I assume the screw can only be removed by cutting it off.

The end caps are ineffective
3/5

These are comfortable and give you a lot of control, but there is a flaw in the design. The end cap is intended to be clamped down on the handlebars' ends. The issue is that when the end cap is tightened, it squeezes the end piece to the point where it pushes the bar off the end. To keep the end cap in place, there must be a lip or groove for it to fit into. I just got by with my stock end plugs because I like the grips, which will suffice - However, this is a clear design flaw that any R user will notice. D or an engineer should be able to detect the problem. I'm surprised Raceface hasn't addressed the problem yet.

For all parts, I use Raceface: New bikes, sex-changed bikes, and custom bikes are always preferable to store-bought bikes! I was initially concerned about installing the awesome grips because there is only one bolt in place
5/5

My Kona ones had two, whereas mine had only one. But as soon as I climbed aboard and took off, they were just as solid, if not more, than the others. On Saturday morning, I went for a walk through the national park. Within the first two hours of riding, four hikers had commented on how cool my downhill bike was. Strangely enough, people rarely notice the type of bike, and I didn't even notice that they matched my handlebars. I bought the Atlas handle bars (in gold) from raceface two years ago and they have the same design in them looks 100% they grip at 100% they even feel good without So, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes I'm working on another bike for a friend, and he'll get a pair of them as well. To the vendor: br>br> 100% super fast delivery, exactly what I was looking for these were looking for these were looking for these were looking for these were looking for% Is it likely that I'll make another purchase through them? No, no, no! Thank you for being so accommodating and humble.

It should be neither too thick nor too thin
5/5

Oversized grips have a tendency to cushion bumps while limiting handling "feel. " With the Half Nelson grips, you'll get a good response, a tacky feel, and just the right amount of cushion, whether you're wearing gloves or not. It was simple to set up the lock and to install it. Colors are pleasing to the eye. End plugs are essentially useless, but who doesn't have a tray full of them lying around?.

Get a handle on things! Set of grips of high quality
5/5

It took more time to remove the old stock grips than it did to install these. With a hex wrench, simply slide them on and secure them. They've held up well after a full season of use and haven't needed any retightening. The silicone grip is just tacky enough to allow for comfortable and confident riding while not obstructing quick release. I'll buy these again without a doubt.

It has a great feel to it and it looks fantastic! There is nothing I dislike about these grips, and I like how they feel both with and without my riding gloves on
5/5

I like how it looks with my GT Aggressor Pro in blue. I also appreciate how simple it is to set them up. The most difficult part of the process was removing my factory-installed grips, which was simple enough with some soapy water, a small Allen wrench, and some twisting. It only took a few minutes in total.

It's incredibly simple to put together, feels great, and looks fantastic
4/5

Installing it was a breeze. Cam locks were easily secured with an Allen wrench and slipped right on Specialized Hardrock handlebars. I didn't have any issues with screw stripping like others have reported; simply don't overtighten. Tighten the grip with your hand and make sure it doesn't turn when you turn it; if it does, tighten a little more and recheck. These grips are attractive and have a pleasant tacky feel to them. They're a little on the small side, but they're perfect for my son and for when you want to wear gloves. I'm hoping they last a long time and don't attract dirt. The red color was described as "neon red" by some reviewers. The pair I got is a nice bright red that goes perfectly with my son's bike. I have ODI grips on my bike and almost prefer these RaceFace grips, so if they hold up well, they'll be a great buy at the price.

Grippy, plush, and fantastic
5/5

My wife purchased a used mountain bike from a woman who competes in enduro races, and the bike included these grips. I was impressed by how tacky, low-profile, and comfortable the grips were, so I purchased a pair to replace the stock grips on a new Trek Fuel EX I purchased. They have excellent grip right out of the box, and I believe they will become even tackier with use. My hands were a little numb from the Trek grips, and they became slick when I sweated. These grips have eliminated those issues, and I now feel much more confident and in control, particularly when leaning the bike over or barreling through a rough section. I'm not a hardcore mountain biker, but I've been doing it off and on for the past 25 years. I've had these grips for about a year and they're the best I've ever had.
