This was purchased to replace my son's Royal Baby bike grips, one of which had broken after only a year of use. After only TWO DAYS of use, one of these replacements broke. It's made of cheap rubber, the raised end is a magnet for kids to grab and pull on, and the product doesn't deserve its high Amazon rating. A grip with a firmer rubber exterior and a rigid sleeve inside, which costs a few dollars more, is also available from the same company. We put it in place and give it a five-star rating.
These have gone from bright pink to white in just over a month, so I guess they'll be fine if your kids only use their scooters in the dark.
The material is of good quality; there appears to be no wear and tear so far, but I've only had them for a few months. I did want to mention that the color faded dramatically after only a few days in the sun. It wasn't a major issue, but it did stand out. To me, the most important factor is that the product's quality remains high.
br>Now that I had a line running down both sides of my vehicle, it was time to figure out how to fix the handlebar ends. I'm hoping these last as long as the original grips did. I just put them in tonight, and I'll update them as needed!.
Those were the right length but a little too big (diameter), so I used some electrical tape to make them work. To keep cars and handlebars safe, they have large rubber ends. I strongly suggest it.
These were purchased to replace worn-out bike grips on my child's bike. I added a shot of WD-40 to make it even easier to install. They slid right on and appear to be holding up well to the rigorous use that a child's bike is subjected to.
I can't recommend it. Both failed within 24 hours of being installed, as evidenced by this photo. Getting a refund.
My older daughter outgrew her bike, so we got a new seat and these grips to update it for my younger. They were simple to put together, comfortable to hold, and added a nice pop of color to the room.
