A 26 can be used on a 27. 5 fork. It's impossible to use a 29 on a 27. However, a 26 or 27 could be used. On a 29 fork, I got a 5 out of it. Neither of the 27 could be used. For a 27-year-old, less than 4 pounds is a huge accomplishment. 5, add 20 oz for a total of 29 oz.
It appears that the rush uses a 1 1/8th fork, so it should be fine. The 5 fork will raise the front end of your bike slightly, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Make sure to account for the fact that the fork is only for discs.
It's for a QR setup that isn't boosted.

The weight of the fork has been reduced, and it now handles high-speed bumps and obstacles far better than the original coil spring fork.
These will be ideal for my general "urban riding," as I like to call it. The use of previous OEM forks should be prohibited because they pose a risk to the rider. These were a good deal for the money. In my limited experience with them, I have found the mechanism to be smooth, with good compression recovery. Although I didn't notice a difference in weight between them and the previous forks, the shop installer did. He'd have to know, I suppose. I didn't install them, but I'd say they were simple to install because I watched a bike mechanic do it in less than 2 hours. Overall, I'm a 5-star fan of this product, though I suspect hard-core $5000 MTB riders will scorn it. For practical normal riders, however, this should be a good balance of reliability, price, and comfort.
Straight steerer tube is the best upgrade for an entry-level mountain bike. Better and lighter than comparable Rockshox. I've had mine for about a year and have logged around 200 miles on it. I just had it serviced for the first time, and the bike tech said the seals and tech appeared to be almost new. If I had the option, I would give it six stars. This kit is truly incredible!.
Make sure your crown race is 30mm; I had to dremel the crown race to fit my new headset. It feels like a completely different bike, is extremely light, and can be built by yourself if you have some basic wrenching skills. This is a straight steerer with a length of 1 1/8 inch.
If you're replacing a suntour springer or something similar, this is without a doubt the best fork for your money. Get this fork instead of a rockshox for your straight tube bikes.
The Suntour XCT fork that came on my Diamondback Overdrive was a great upgrade to replace it with, as the fork is light and responsive.
There isn't anything negative to say. This fork took the place of a Suntour XCT on my Motobecane 527ht. The best improvement I've ever made. On the trail, it's as if it's night and day. It is something I strongly suggest.
It was a lot more enjoyable to descend.
