A 24mm spindle is needed for the cranks on the Sram cranks.
There is no drive side crank on it, instead it is for the 24mm diameter GXP crank which has a 22mm diameter on the non-drive side of the crank.
Yes, of course
It would appear that you will need to go with a bb92 if your frame is designed for that type because they are press-fit devices

As much as I wanted to pedal and not have too much resistance, I did not feel safe leaving the bolt too loose. I ended up choosing a Shimano BB because that wasn't an option for me. Not sure whether this issue was exclusive to me or not, but I believed a SRAM crank set would work well with a SRAM BB. It may not have worked out as planned.
That's a bit disappointing since I installed a SRAM GXP BB on my new mountain bike, and I've only gotten 3,728 miles out of it. The old mountain bike I own has logged over 15,000 miles and is still going strong on its second Shimano Octalink front brake. I have ridden both bikes under the same conditions and had both bikes serviced the same way because both bikes have fulfilled the same function for all my riding. Failure of the GXP was found to be with the sealed bearing unit on the drive side. In one moment it is excellent on a modest seated climb, but the next moment it is throwing an enormous The failure and the free movement of the bearing after removal indicate the bearings have been broken. I didn't disassemble the unit, but it's pretty clear from the failure that one or more of the bearings have been broken. It is my hope that it is not a design flaw, and that this replacement unit will last longer and support me in the future. I will update this review once the new one In addition to what appears to be an over-use of I like the high level of fragility in the Operates smoothly, is easy to install, and does not require any adjustments throughout its lifetime.
This is smooth and nice. I am boy. Though I have never had a problem with them and have them on many bikes, I wonder if some people are not installing them properly (or maybe got a returned product). They are cheap BB, without a doubt. As with anything, you get what you pay for, which is why plenty of my friends buy BBs that cost over $100 that are significantly Is that really so I'm not going to do it for this cheapo, at least right now. Put it in the context of You need to know what How would you like to be treated. I am interested in knowing how much you are Honestly, I've found this to be the best cheap GXP I've used, and mine has lasted through much. There are more than 100 in the woods every week.
There is no way for this bottom bracket to be good, due to sloppy engineering. When pedaling, popping and snapping noises are caused by excessive play between the bearing and spindle on the non drive side. When I received the new part, I was dismayed to discover that it had too much play as well, and that the spindle, even with the crank arm firmly installed and torqued, can easily move up and down. The thickness of a 10th of an There should not be much press fit in this bearing In fact, it almost sounds like it is rattling The fit is poor and the performance is noisy.
had my mountain bike (2012 Niner Jet 9) for about 8 years and never touched the bottom bracket, so I decided it was time to replace it. I pulled out the old one and it was filled with dirt and grime. I actually bought the wrong bottom bracket at the beginning. Due to the fact that I have Truvativ cranks, I had to return that one and buy this one that is I can use it on my bike and on It's important to keep that in mind. It came with spacers on each side. It was easy to install. I've never seen such a good bike!.
This bottom bracket is the ideal match for the Airborne Seeker 29er with both spacers since it comes in 68mm size. You should measure the width of your frame shell before you start painting. The spacers are not needed if the wheel diameter is 73mm. It is possible to remove and replace this bottom bracket with the 'Park Tool 16 Notch Bottom Bracket Tool. The tool needs to be placed on either side of the front wheel, pointing toward the wheel and pushing it It can be attached to a front wheel by pulling up and pointing toward it. Neither side will be harmed by this trick.
Due to the fact that everyone else is either selling this used for the same price as a new one, I opted to buy a new one here on Amazon. There are some used ones with bad bearings as well Save money by avoiding the toll roads I'll buy this new and put it to use.
Despite the wait, the results were worth it. I like the high quality of this product and its ease of installation. Seals keep bearings in place. This slide frame has a well-labeled adjustment ring and is well I had to conduct a tremendous amount of research to find the right BB for my bike because there are so many out there. There aren't many that fit like this one.
