My rotor and pads were burnt, both the outside edge and the inside edge, by a pair of Shimano XT 8020 brake pads. Can I get a fix for this problem or do I have to send them ?

As long as it is only a slight discoloration on the rotor I think it's okay. My rotors are a little dark on the edges, however, and I do like to ride downhill trails just There might be something wrong with your brakes if they aren't stopping right.

Nevertheless, if you are going to do a lot of road riding, then I would recommend upgrading the caliper and rotor as well, as the stock ones are a little undersized once the controller and battery are upgraded.

They bite much better than the stock pads on a Sur Ron Light Bee X, so I got them to replace The price is kind of steep, but it certainly works better than what's available. I hope it lasts for a long time.

These stoppers are wonderful, but they are As one would expect, they work as expected

There are no issues with stopping or modulating. There is one thing that bothered me about these pads the noise they make. As a result of the size and extra mass of the pads, they are prone to clanking. After I noticed the metal clanking, I sorted out where the source was coming from. Since I had a carbon frame, that made it significantly more challenging. As a result of spreading the spring that sits between the pads, the noise was reduced.
