was surprised by all the options offered by this trike and I love it. It is possible to disengage the petals while your child is being pushed, so they can rest their feet on the petals instead of having to get up and down all the time. In addition to foot rests that pop out, there is a baby lift that can reach the petals, for very young children. It is possible to disengage the steering in the handle bars, and then steer using the long handle instead. Honestly, that's all I have to complain about. It would be great to use this to take my 2-year-old on my power walks, but the handle is so narrow that it would be impossible to steer with enough speed. It sure would be nice to have a handle that is wider and easier to handle. It's extremely durable, fun, and versatile, but I still love it!.

The pedals tend to pop out and freewheel quite often, so I gave it 4 stars. Regardless, it has lasted years for my daughter so far. Although it is easy to fix, it can be frustrating. This seems to be the case with the steering as well. I got it for my daughter when she was two, but she still plays with it occasionally when she's not riding her bike. I would throw it away if she didn't like it so much, but if she still plays with it every now and then, why not?.

I am so impressed with the artist who designed this bike. He is two years old and has cerebral palsy. There is a severe problem with her right side as a whole. There are the following limitations walking, standing up, pedaling, pulling up, and pulling down on her own. Similar to the tricycles she rides in therapy, this tricycle is very similar to hers. I mentioned before that she can't pedal on her own, so this is absolutely perfect for her as the pedals move as you move towards them. Besides adding Velcro on the pedals so I could strap her feet in, everything else was pretty much standard. The assembly was quick and easy, taking no more than 20 minutes. I found the instructions to be very clear. Aside from being very light, it is also very durable. Keeping her in is made easy by the straps on the seat. The light is on. In order to keep your child from eating too much, I recommend a heavy bike. It seems unjust to give it bad reviews all because it is so light.

Whether or not this bike is made out of cheap plastic is not important. Even if there is no way that this bike can move straight, it isn't important My one-year old can't maneuver the road bike at all and my road bike easily goes on the side.
