That's quite a surprise
4/5

A bit of assembly IS necessary! As a gift for the twin nephews that turned two, we bought them a pair of the trikes shown here. Steel parts of the main frame are well constructed and well-built. All other parts are plastic and should last for a long time. To connect the rear axle to the frame, one bolt is needed. There are two bolts that connect the plastic seat to the The clamp locks the handlebars in place. An assembly is required, according to the ad. " I was a little skeptic because they would have been enormous to ship, and wouldn't have fit in my suitcase. It includes a basic "wrench", but a socket set would be easier to use. Most challenging was getting the handlebar clamp tightened, as the basket leaves a narrow window for it to be aligned and firmly seated. The quality of the information and the instructions were good.

I am disappointed
3/5

It is always a pleasure to get John Deere products for my grandchildren. My excitement was palpable when I first saw this tricycle. It came with plastic wheels, and I noticed that once I got it. It never occurred to me that John Deere would put plastic wheels on any of its It was very disappointing for me. It is imperative that I use greater caution the next time I order anything.

The pedals are hard to press
3/5

It's really hard for smaller children to use the pedals. When one pedal is up, the other is down, and that barely makes any difference. In other words, if they lose momentum when they begin or if they start, it's difficult to start it.

The recommendation is to not do it
3/5

There is no way to have reliable wheels when one of them just breaks off! I am very disappointed with this product. It is difficult to paint due to the poor quality of it. Don't buy it if you can help it.

Toy for kids that kids will love
4/5

I gave it four stars because I didn't like the basket on the back. Apart from that, I was satisfied with this tricycle, but it doesn't deserve five stars due to its weak basket.

A simple assembly is needed
5/5

It's the first time we have bought two for our two granddaughters and we couldn't I love how quickly they arrived, how easy they are to assemble, and how much the girls loved My daughters loved riding as close as they can to my riding mower with the John Deere label. There is a single piece of plastic on the wheels. Our Flyer model suffered a problem in which the tread came away and could not be reattached. There are no issues like that with these.

The tricycle is sturdy and good
4/5

It was easy to put together the tricycle. Despite that, the front wheel was stiff, causing the pedals to be difficult to press. As a standard feature, the pedals are already attached to the front wheel. It took my husband several hours to disassemble the front wheel completely to fix the problem.

The instructions are not very clear but the bike works fine. I still don't understand how this thing was put together but I'm okay with it.
