This is a good asphalt, it grips well. It has been a while since I've driven on gravel.
Thank you for your message, Beth. For this product, you must assemble it
The seat is adjustable, but we don't know how long your 3-year-old is or if he's tall or short. It is too small for my two-year-old, but there is plenty of room for him to grow.

". Because it is a "jr" trike, I thought it would be smaller. I bought it for my 2 year old grandson but he cannot reach the pedals when it is adjusted all the way forward. I would have returned it to the store, but he loves it anyway.
I regret buying this! It was the worst purchase I've ever made!.
Being a professional assembly worker for toys and furniture, I had to admit that this was much worse than expected. When I realized the logo was incorrectly printed, it was too late. While it is not something I would care about in the slightest, it is a gift and I would expect more from the fact that it will grow with the kid and it has a classic look to it, and the misprint was most likely due to a freak accident, but I wouldn't buy it.
Suitable for toddlers, this trike has an appropriate size. My 2 year old grandson uses a trike that he propels with his feet on the ground on a larger trike (yard sale). My hope is to get him to use the pedals that I bought him I'm only not happy with the spikes on the pedals, because bare feet hurt from them. They're probably there to grip shoes, but the barefoot boy in my backyard is not a fan. To make them more comfortable, we put socks over them. It's a neat trike, and the adjustable seat is a welcome.
All parts were included in the product that shipped and was delivered on time. If you need instructions, review them before assembling the trike. Instructions are mainly illustrated so you won't have to read too much. You should be able to complete it in 30 minutes at most. This is an easy product to assemble. It was the task of screwing in the 4 screws holding the steering column/front wheel in place that proved to be the most difficult. In reality, it isn't that difficult to screw in the screws all the way, but it takes quite a few turns of the screwdriver. It may not fit a 2 year old who wants to drive, even with the seat on the top, but my son managed to push it along just fine. I am happy with the.
There is no way around it You MUST assemble. My disappointment stems from the fact that I specifically read through a lot of descriptions for ride-on child's toys to find one that did not require The one that says "Assembly" says Since I have sustained an injury to my hand in the past, I do not have a good grasp. Several pieces were missing when the parcel arrived. To assemble it, I had to get help from someone. The process took nearly 30 minutes of a lot of screwing things together. Another tool you'll need is A set of instructions is provided. The fact is. If you are a single mom or anyone who has limited use of their hands, YOU DO NOT want to buy this toy. There needs to be a change in the Amazon description. I do not recommend this toy for kids over the age of four. Maybe a 2 out of 5 It is the age of 3 years.
We found it easy to assemble and my husband put it together with minimum effort. I like that the seat backs can be adjusted to fit your child's growing needs. This is a very sturdy product that looks exactly as depicted in the picture. Ideally, my kid would be able to pedal by himself.
