I was unable to take it off when I bought the bike this is part of the bike. The third paragraph is below. The picture review from Friday, June 25, 2016 is a five-star rating. A friend bought me this bike for my 5-year-old son It might have been my first choice had I known it could be used by a four-year-old as his first "big kid" bike, but not if it had the words "Baby" It is true that the company name is "Royal Baby," but I didn't realize that so many instances of the word would be found throughout. The tread of the tires, for instance, is laced with the word "Royal Baby." On the handle bars, pedals, and in a couple other places (see picture), it is also labeled.

I am very impressed with this product
5/5

At the beginning of my college career, I worked in a bike store that sold low-profile bikes Bikes in the mid-range price range. In addition to assembling and repairing them, I spent a great deal of time on There are times when lower- rated films are shown Some of the high-end bikes I owned had lots of issues such as bent parts, untrue wheels, and misaligned brakes. I had never heard of the Royal Baby brand before, but after reading other reviews, I decided to buy one for my eight-year-old When it arrived, I made sure I gave it a thorough once-over, as I always do. As I first looked at the parts, I noticed that they were of The welds on the bike were strong and the finish was excellent.

Assembly process was similar to You'll need pedals, handlebars, a seat, and On the first try, all parts lined up perfectly. Nothing like that, no fighting, no tugging, no nothing like There is also a cheap tool kit included to make assembly easier and to make sure that you do not have to hunt for a pedal wrench or metric allen key. With the mechanics in place, I began to look at the process. I was very pleased with the grip of the tires. A bike in the $100 range should have a noticeable wobble, but these bikes did not have one Between 150 and 200. It was a perfect adjustment of the brakes. I wanted to make sure they were on rim and that they pulled the right amount on the rim. Overall, it seems to be a decent bike for the price and I am happy I bought it.

I really like this bike
5/5

The following two items were bought by me She will be turning five next week. The 16 inch pink bike will be given to her. To provide a comparison between size sizes, I did not measure her, but she is a size 5/6 right now in tops and pants. When she has the training wheels on the bike, it works great. When she does not have them, it is too big for her to handle. The size I would have purchased to start would have been one down if I knew what I know now. In the meantime, she can ride it with training wheels to get used to it, and we'll keep her smaller bike until she's used to riding a regular bike. The 18 inch blue bike I bought for my seven and a half year old son As of right now, there are no measurements available, but he's about a size 7/8. I think this bike fits nicely, but there's room for growth. He would not have been able to comfortably wear it last fall. I will share my thoughts about size without getting too caught up in the details That's a really cool bike! It's nice and sturdy and I love the way it looks. The pink bike is still girly, though that it has BLACK tires, not the white tires that most children's bikes have) We live on a farm, so we don't have sidewalks to walk on. The only surfaces to ride on are dirt, gravel, and grass. It does not matter whether the bikes are on a rough surface. The fact that the bikes came with a water bottle is a huge plus for my kids. There's a hand grip at the back of the 16" biking bike that looks like it's supporting a firmer white seat. - the 18" bike has a black seat that is slightly cushier than the 16" The same as a seat on a bike. The kids have not mentioned being particularly fond of their seats or disliking them. I like the fact that both bikes have brakes. It has taken my daughter a little while to get used to it, but she seems to like it overall She has tiny hands and it's a little big for them. To avoid falling down hills, try to get the hang of that before beginning. * * *And last, never look at any distance as a distance! I did not have a lot of trouble assembling it Most of them were already assembled when they arrived. To get everything ready for the ride, it took about 15 minutes per bike (Putzing speed). Two bikes were ready to go, one of them was in need of tires inflating before riding, one didn't require it. In general, these have been great bikes so far, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

The best bike I've ever seen! As our daughter approached her seventh birthday, we realized it was time to retire our 12" You and retire it I have a pink bike and an It took us literally hours of searching through reviews online before we narrowed the choice down to this one and a Diamondback 16" bike
5/5

We chose the RoyalBaby 16" bike I sat down and read every single review for this bike, and the following problems seemed to be the most common ones A loud voice said, "Too heavy!". The parents did not specify to which bike this bike is being compared. My eye kept going to the shipping weight to verify that I didn't miss anything and found the "2" in the 28 pounds to be a "3 or a 4. ". However, I was right all along. As I ran out to the shed to look at the weight of her 12" bike, I contemplated how much mess it would cause to return this large object. This was the package I picked My next move was to lift my 20lb barbell. After I picked it back up I started reading it Her bike might have been 3 feet long, based on my estimate I am 5 pounds heavier than I am now. It was awesome that the RoyalBaby bike arrived a day early (gotta love Prime!) I assemble it and pick I was so relieved when I was able to lift it up with just I am unsure of the weight of the bike, but it appears to be around 25lbs, which is perfect for our 7 year old. She has already fallen off the bike, but she is easily able to pick it Spend an extra $100 on an aluminum frame bike for your kids and all those complaining won't be as unhappy. There is a problem with the wheels because the wheels don't spin freely. " My concern in this regard was also a big one since I worry a lot about quality control at At the end of assembly, I flipped the bike over and checked At first, I had problems stopping them. It felt like there were "sticky" spots on the wheels. I would like to emphasize, first off, that if you are not mechanically inclined, please make sure to read all the directions before you begin. It was noticeable that the front caliper brakes needed to be adjusted as they were rubbing slightly against the tire, creating a "balanced" sound when spinning the wheel rapidly. According to the directions I scanned, the front brakes needed to be adjusted. I checked again a few minutes later and there was no rub. I did notice that the rear wheel was a bit sticky and there was also some rubbing sound. It may not seem necessary, but once I realized how to turn it (the pedals should be fully forward and engaged) I could not turn it. Take note of whether the coaster brake is engaged for even a second, since you will hear it rubbing as the wheel turns. A couple of adjustments to the brake made the front wheel spin much more easily, nearly stopping the vehicle. However, there was still some resistance, so I figured that when the weight was on the wheels, that shouldn't matter too much The resistance will be negligible if it is displayed with the side up. Make sure to lubricate the moving parts on a regular basis, as directed by the directions. All of that needed lubrication, so I grabbed some 3 in 1 oil and some auto grease. as if the wheels were stiff right out of the box, and they began to relax on their own after a few rides. I'm going to address my next con now. Throughout all stages of the project, the wheels are out of alignment One of the things we found concerning about this was that it was mentioned by several reviewers who claimed to have previously worked on bikes. My initial reaction was to do some research into what they meant by "true," but by doing so, I found that It was almost here that I docked one of the stars. I noticed that both wheels were out of true and that was one of the reasons they didn't spin as freely as I expected. When I spun both wheels, it was apparent both of them needed adjustment as they bent left and right under the pressure with several bubbles. This caused the rim to wobble substantially while In reading about "truing" a bicycle wheel, I found that it was very straightforward There is just one adjustment You adjust the spoke studs at their base, right above the rim, with the According to the spoke wrench I bought on Amazon for $9, the spokes on this bike are size 13. The wheels spun much easier once I figured out how to tighten them counterclockwise. Within 10 minutes, both wheels were very close to true and were very easy to spin! I even observed that my daughter noted the bike riding much smoother after I made the In this case, I decided not to dock a star since I was able to correct the problem and I am pretty certain that stores such as Wally World and Target never "true" their bikes prior to purchase. It is just not cool to have a royal baby all over the bike! These are great for young boys and girls who are wanting to become big. I did have to peel off a few decals and throw away a few of the ridiculous stickers that came with the bike, but there are only two places where it says "RoyalBaby. ". There is a center of gravity between the seat and the The logo for the company appears on the front of the frame with a dominant crown in which it is so small that you can barely read "RoyalBaby" unless you stick your face right up to it. Since the company name is black on black on the tire tread, you can't tell what the business is unless you view it closely. With our daughter who is 7 years old, this bike definitely passed the cool test! There are several "Missing Parts" in the set. A full set of parts is included with the bike. There won't be any issues with pedals screwing in or breaking It's possible that this one will change after a few months of use, so I'll keep an eye on it and update, if needed. It seemed that the pedals screwed onto the crank arms just fine (keep in mind that the left hand pedal must be tightened counter-clockwise on the crank arm). The clockwise direction). There's no such thing as a cheap bottle of water. I have to agree with this one, too, as it already has a cracked and leaky seal. In our house, however, we have several bicycle water bottles and they all fit perfectly with the holder, which is made of metal and is attached to the frame with screws. I don't think this is a big enough issue to dock a star. There is a chain break on the chain. I haven't had to adjust the chain yet because it is nice and tight. Furthermore, the rear axle slides in a groove on the rear axle so that you can adjust the chain tension, which apparently, some of these reviewers failed to realize. * * Bm. "Tires won't hold air. The tires are still full after I inflated them to 35 psi four days ago. In the beginning, I was a little nervous about purchasing this bike, but so far, it seems to be a better choice than I expected. Our daughter can't seem to get enough of it, even when she's not riding she just sits on it while she waits over a post. The frame seems solid and well made, with great I really like the orange and black color scheme on the seat and the white accents, it's really cool! This bike is a dream come true for me, if I could ride it! The first time she sped up and coasted almost the entire length of the sidewalk was definitely a relief after truing the wheels. Adding to her love for the tires is the fact that they're big, thick, and black. The fact that it also comes with a kickstand and a quick-release strap is very useful The seat adjusts for her size, so she doesn't have to stress about fitting! The bicycle is a great product in our opinion. This bike appears to be more than capable of providing our kids with years of safe and enjoyable riding if we take a little time to read the instructions and make some basic adjustments. The 12-month update is below This year A free replacement water bottle was sent to me by the company after reading my review. My opinion is that it is very nice customer service. To date, everything has gone smoothly with the bike.
