Questions & Answers

There are 16/20/24 inch bikes offered by your company, but only 20" are available for purchase. Could you please let me know if I appreciate it. ?

Having a 20 inch screen is my fault

Is the tire size on the 20 the same as on the 12? How many times? Are you ready?

The distance between the spokes is 20, as well as the distance between the spokes and the tire. Its light weight and great performance make it a great bike.

Experienced riders may be able to stop faster with a traditional two-brake system, according to tests on the company's website. Can you give a link to the study where 44% is mentioned?

I'm not familiar with the study, but I wanted my grandson's 24 inch bike to be well made when he was ready for it. During the search, the guardian showed up as the safest bike. The decision was made to purchase after additional research. It's amazing to see someone ride this bike with two brakes, so I was confident I had made the right choice after watching him ride it. I bought one for my daughter for her house after she saw it. As they say, you get what you pay for, and I thought this was worth the price.

I like that bike a lot
5/5

The dimensions of a child's clothing are based on his or her In order to give a little insight into my kid's life - As part of my bike purchasing adventure, I spent a great deal of time using the Two-Sections The way that Wheelin Tots explains things on their website makes complete sense to me. There are so many kids riding around on those cheap "big box store" bikes and the kids look so awkward These people don't have enough room to walk, the handle bars are almost above their shoulders, and the whole thing appears Two Wheelin' Tots highlights the importance of having a light weight bike with a low center of gravity and a bigger wheel base so your child can ride like an adult. You'll know the bike is not designed well if it looks like a toy. If you have a bike that is too heavy or is unstable, or if it sits too high, a new rider may find it difficult to learn to ride it. Geometry for kids bikes and the weight of the bike are important because the easier it is for them to ride, the more likely they will keep at it and enjoy the bike. The Ethos weighs 20 pounds and has steel frames. As a comparison, the Schwinn Koenn is roughly 25lbs for the same 16 inch size, while other brands like Raleigh offer 16 inch bikes that are between 19lbs and 20lbs. In terms of frame size, all of the Guardian Originals are 20 inches, but the smallest one is just under that. It wasn't until later that my oldest child, who was 5 at the time, was in a much more comfortable position with any sort of adventure. His little brother was able to ride a balance bike but he was too big for the trainer. As a result of conducting a lengthy amount of research into multiple brands in hopes of getting the "best value for the money", we opted for Initially, the 5 year old was pretty hesitant, but rather than following him behind, holding on to his seat, and hoping he would catch on suddenly, I suggested he try peddling a bike in his own way - by pushing the pedals. In the beginning, I didn't put the peddles on the Guardian Bike because I wanted him to get used to feeling and riding the bike a normal balance bike. Once he was comfortable with the bike (which took a week), I added the peddles. After just a few weeks of coasting around on his bike during the day and walking on it, he began to get the hang of pedaling pretty quickly. He now rides a bike everywhere, cruising around like a fool. Despite that, one thing we ran into, and it was all my fault, was that we bought the 16 inch TV for my kid when the height limit for the TV was just about maxed out - I should have picked something smaller instead - The specs should have been more accurate. . . luckily, for him, his more coordinated brother was ready to graduate from the balance bike pretty quickly, so the older child just got a 20-inch bike. In the end, we went with the 20 inch Guardian Ethos and moved the younger to the 16 inch bike, since we loved the Guardians so much. Having gone through all of the features and some very minor drawbacks, let's now talk about the features themselves. In terms of features, the SureStop brake system is the most notable one. A brake handle can be found on the right grip that operates A secondary cable that activates the front brake is pulled when the brake pads grab the rim of the tire. This thing that holds the brake pads slides forward as the brake pads grip the rims of the tires. In a recent article written by Two Wheelin' Tots, they explains why coaster brakes are not the best for kids learning to ride a bicycle It is difficult for children to balance on a bike because they tend to pedal When coaster brakes are used, the rear wheel locks up, and the kid goes skidding off of it. It is possible that some motorcycles have only a rear wheel hand-brake, but this may not be enough to stop the bike. Small children may not be able to grasp the concept of using the front brake lightly when stopping. They end up going over the handlebars on other bikes with separate front and rear brakes (like adult bicycles) instead of using brakes as intended. There are a few other things I like as well As the chain links together, An errant shoelace or pant lace can be caught by the guard on the front crank From the smaller components to the rims and tires and the frame itself, this whole set is just very well made. The short legs are well protected from snagging, the seat is well made and well cushioned, and the whole thing is just very well constructed. In the event that I'm making my birthday or Christmas gift bike, it's largely assembled so I need to devote little time to it I had a headache that night. All you have to do on the bike is mount the handlebars, mount the seat, mount the pedals, and tighten everything down. Apart from that, the only thing you have to do is adjust the height and inseam of your kid. In terms of drawbacks, there are a number of them. As I mentioned above, the weight of the bike can be a problem for small riders, however, my bird-boned middle child is only 35lbs, and he is able to ride it with ease as long as there are no long inclines or any semi-inclines. You're going up a steep hill. There is another thing to consider Any object with moving parts will at some point have a problem, and the more complicated it is, the more likely that it will have a problem. It can be tricky for me to tune or remove the 16 inch Guardian bike when it needs to be removed for reasons like tuning and repairs. This has been our 16 inch Guardian bike for close to a year without any problems. There is not a lot of movement when the little brake pad thingies slide forward to actuate the front brake, so getting the tension on the cable "just right" may take some time My belief is that it will be easier said than done, but I suppose we will have to wait and see. Since it's 105 degrees outside, the kids aren't using the bikes much as of right now. With any luck, the kids will be gentle on the bikes until they grow out of them, and I won't have to deal with it for long. As a final point, let me mention the price. At the time of writing this review, the listed price My 16 inch monitor cost $190 because there was a sale going on at the time I bought it. I think it's a really good bike for $190, but for $240, you can get a Trek, Giant, or any other bike similar to it This is well-known It's a pity that the other 16 inch bikes from these big brands lack the braking system that the Guardian has, and all of them have coaster brakes (which I abhor) regardless of whether or not they have a hand brake. So I do earn a win for the Guardian in that case. There may be some brands out there that do not offer the best kids apparel There are also bikes with geometry at a lower price of $200 In addition to their obscenely expensive racing bikes, they will be tuned up as well The Guardian is made to perfection, but their lower end, suburban family bikes may not have the same features and design quality, therefore, do your research if you decide to look at another brand. Despite their poor build quality, these bikes are extremely well built. The way the tires are so close together, the way the handlebars are high and the frame, which feels like lead when lifted, they are terrible for kids learning how to ride. My neighbors with kids the same age as my children were impressed that my two took to riding a bike so quickly. There is something wrong with my kids- they aren't coordinated Footballs are caught with their faces instead of our hands, a sort of coordinated action Thus, I can attribute it to the fact that it is a well-designed bike that the kids are comfortable on and can handle easily.

This is what awesome is all about
5/5

Then there are companies that are awesome, and those that are not To the outside- It consists of I park at In addition to I love it. Those are the ones from Guardian Bikes. The bike I ordered for my son was the wrong size (mistake on my part for not using the handy online sizing tool, which I discovered later), and instead of sending it back, they encouraged me to donate it to my child's school, but still gave me a In the picture you can see me and the principal. A) The appropriate course of action A biek of the right size arrived two days later, and the easy-to-assemble kit took me 15 minutes to complete I love how easy it is to find videos on the internet for my son! In addition, he loves showing off how fast he can stop because he wasn't expecting how fast it would be. went to the local store to look for bikes, but they were overpriced and heavy. Since I used to work in the emergency room, I am a helmet nerd, and knowing that I can provide them with an extra layer of safety, on a bike that's sized and weight appropriate for him, makes me feel good about my 8 year old getting his bike The saying goes, "4 wheels get you to where you want to go, two wheels set you free!". Yas is out on his bike. I want to thank Guardian for making such amazing.

There are no issues with the bike I made it
5/5

I was very pleased with the customer service and the bike frame, wheels, brakes, and pedals seemed to be in good condition. A high-quality product made in the United States. Having a loose brake cable on the front of my vehicle was an issue. In order to contact the company, I used the "contact us" link on their website. I received a phone It took less than 5 minutes for one of the owners of the company to get back to me. was extremely patient and kind when I called and showed me how to tighten up the front brake, offered to mail me a new cable crimp end cap and offered to mail a backup cable. This book was supposed to have less than a five-star rating in my original review The company did its best to make things right, but stars were not enough. I had a great experience and had a wonderful time The bike is so far a big hit with my son.

Excellent bike for kids! Well made and very well designed
5/5

It will be a hand-me-down to my daughter in a few years (although it was bought for my 7-year old niece). We've seen other models similar to this bike at big box stores, so this bike is much lighter, which allows her to get used to her "big girl" bike more easily. The top bar on the frame is also lower, making it easier for her to get on and off the bike. Also, the 1-sidedness of the decision was a determining factor The handle brake applies the brakes both to the front and the much safer than when as only one rear brake is used.

The bike was shipped to me in two days (thanks to Amazon) and the pedals, handlebar, and wheels were installed within a 10-12 hour timeframe. A 15-minute break is appropriate. As a surprise, they even shipped a better quality chrome wrench instead of the cheap ones they usually ship. As soon as I took it for a test ride, I was pleased to see the brakes were set right out of the box, and the gears shifted smoothly as well. Any cables or anything else did not need to be tightened. As I previously mentioned, the bike looks really great and is well made, so I am really happy with my.

The situation has been resolved The bike is well built and very quick to assemble, but the quality control could be improved
5/5

In 7th gear, the pedals are free and the rear wheel is not moved. The shift grip for my son is incredibly tight which makes it challenging to move down lower gears when changing from a higher gear to a lower one. The guardian bikes did not live up to expectations. I am disappointed. This update is for 9/14/18 and will be posted here later. It's awesome how helpful and friendly the customer service agents are! My issue was resolved in cooperation with them. I'm happy to report that the bike is working as expected now and my son is thrilled with his new bike! I have changed the review to 5 stars.
