Honestly, I have no idea what this helmet is for. This is a small kids' hat that works for me even though I am a very tall adult. It's clear my 2 don't even come close to fitting. It is the fifth birthday of a 5-year-old. Let me know if there is anything I missed.

Christmas 2019 was the time when this item was purchased. son, who is eight years old, had the helmet on and the attachment for the twist adjuster broke off where it connects to the foam near the top of the helmet. It is the worst thing that could possibly happen to a child's protective equipment. My recommendation is not to do so. Here's the update A representative from the company contacted me about the helmet via their website. As part of the warranty, there is a lifetime replacement policy. BUY THIS HELMET AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The helmet seems to be very nice. It is a beautiful colour that my son loves. It turned out the padding inside to be torn eventually after being used a couple of times. Some weeks later, the internal frame started to break, and it is so loose now that it is not offering support as it should. The helmet we have was purchased a few months ago, and I have to replace it because the one we have a few months ago isn't safe anymore. This gives me a great deal of frustration. It seems that this is a problem that is common to most reviews. This is a bad helmet to buy.

Despite a severe trauma to his face, the visor saved most of his facial features. The only part of his face that needed attention was his chin. It was amazing to see that an obstacle on the track caused the visor to pop off and then miraculously pop right back on! While the dial thing means that the helmet gets small enough, the chin strap is a bit looser than I'd like by maybe half an inch to an inch overall, even after reducing the strap to the Y connection on the ears (which is the minimum adjustment point). The cap seems to fit him snugly though as we shake his head in all directions.

So far my two year old has been too big for it so I can't speak to how well it works, but it does appear well made and sturdy. Orange was a color he enjoyed wearing, and he loved the color orange. This is a very large and bulky product, but I suppose that helps with safety, so we will take care of.

This helmet was way too big for a 7-month-old and it is a little too big for most toddlers. I decided to try it on my 6 year old granddaughter, and it fit like a glove. I was so impressed with the style and fit that I bought it for myself. She prefers the fit of the helmet to the one of her "Frozen" Wally. In the end, we returned the blue helmet but purchased a pink one for the princess in size small.
