I am not sure what you mean by crank fit, but there is a rubber latch on the back of the visor that allows it to be tightened or loosened.

I'm also in love with mine. Often, as a parent, you want to see your kids enjoy themselves, but you also want them to stay safe. It's easy to see why a helmet is the #1 most important piece of safety equipment for riders. My daughter tried a few off-the-shelf Walmart helmets of various designs, and some of them were okay, but she did not particularly enjoy wearing them because they were either too heavy (light-up unicorn designs) or uncomfortable. There is one exception to the rule with this Bern helmet. This jacket is very comfortable for her to wear first of all because it is well padded. the amount of protection it provides is unbelievable for how light it is. Additionally, it flips up (without having to remove it) when she doesn't need it, so this is great for evening rides (we ride on a promenade) when she just wants to look around. In closing, this is a super cute design. Her favorite part was that she could color the flowers to make them her own. You can also give it to your child to color before the ride, so it's a fun project to prep for before the ride. I'm just sad that she'll outgrow this helmet one day, because in my opinion, it is the best on the market.
It may not show up in the photographs, but this helmet has an inner "cap-style-back" to protect the face from the sun. It is really comfortable (my 20 month old didn't tug on it once in a two hour ride) It essentially has a "like" feature that effectively keeps pressure points to a minimum. My little one's face is adequately shielded from the sun with the retractable brim of this hat. I love how easy it is to adjust the strap on the back. A fantastic helmet, if you ask me.
Since 15 months of age, our daughter hasn't taken it off for very long (a big plus! As to how it would perform in a fall, I can't comment, but it appears as safe and reliable as the adult Bern helmets, which are great too. The strawberry, watermelon or ladybug look really cute, but no one can tell if it's supposed to be one of them.
The helmet I bought for my son is great. The off-ramp she had was really cheap It kept sliding back onto her head, a brand-new helmet. It is much more comfortable for my daughter, as it stays in place, has nice thick padding, and is also much more stable. A white Velcro strap at the back allows it to be easily adjusted for size (shown here in one of my photos). A Velcro strap in the middle attaches the padding of the helmet to the edges by snapping on (also shown in the picture). Snaps along the chin snaps also lock into place. The little cap seems to be in place and it really protects my son's head.
It is amazing. I love it. As my child is on the autism spectrum, everything bothers her (itches, rubs, too tight clothes). Over the summer, this helmet gained a lot of traction. The material is not too hot, and it's well padded. She can barely see through the visor because it covers her eyes so well. They all say the same thing it's wonderful. By the age of five, she is capable of buckled and unbuckled the belt on her own. Adapting to the new environment is pretty easy, and we have a lot of room to grow. There is already a ski helmet in the family, but I would like to know whether we can purchase a winter lining for it if needed. I'm impressed with the quality of this.
Despite being 3 years old, my daughter's size 3 fit well. Although she has not hit her head yet while riding her micro, I'm confident it will do its job just fine in the event that she should. xs/s on the strawberry one is super cute and she fits it perfectly! One article I read stated that bern and nutcase helmets do not meet the standard, but it is not clear if they took into account the child's age and dexterity. If you are looking to do more xtreme or aggressive riding, I would recommend the brand Melon. Thanks a lot!.
Recently, my 3-year-old daughter grew out of her nutcase helmet. It fits perfectly, and there is still room to grow, so we bought the Nina Bern helmet! Almost everyone comments on how adorable it is and how great the quality It is hard to resist the strawberry one. She loves to wear it, so that's the best part. Her helmet is not a source of argument for us when she rides her scooter or bikes. It's great helmet! I would definitely recommend it!.
This is an awesome It fits my average frame - S/M It is 8-inch wide and 8-inch high The year is Perfectly suited to the old days. I am very pleased with this helmet as it is snug but comfortable to wear. It has a cool look and is well padded for comfort. We've had a few others that did not work perfectly and I am glad someone recommended this one to me. I am confident that it is the correct fit to keep my daughter safe since my daughter loves wearing it.
