In spite of the fact that this helmet states that it fits children ages 3 and up, my son just turned 2 and the size was way too small for him. As measured by me, the helmet will fit in the head of a toddler with a 20" circumference at most.
Four is the age of our daughter. I have worn it for five years and it fits well She wore it when she was 3 and it was a little big. Weighing about 40 pounds and standing about average height, our daughter is about the same age as you.
There is no information on the packaging about the helmet's circumference. Using a fabric tape, I measured that it will fit up to a 20-inch head (20-inch being a
It has an adjustable strap on the back that is easy to use, and it tightens once the helmet is on once it has been put on. I'm wearing it with my 12 month old who wears it fine. They just need it to be tight enough to keep it from coming Despite the fact that the package says 3+, it is not appropriate for that age group. It is likely that mine will use it till she is at least 5 years old.

A dial-up modem is old, but it works My favorite aspect of the fit feature is that it works. A new update has been posted I am very pleased with the 3 years of use we have been able to get out of it. My daughter is almost 4 years old with an average head size and this helmet still fits her. She will probably grow out of it within a year or two, but for now we are very pleased. The quality of the plastic is good, there are no signs of degradation or breakage. I'm not taking down my original post as it is. It has been 15 months since our daughter was born. Her head is approximately 70th percentile in terms of size, so this helmet fits nicely, and she is currently on the smaller end and can be adjusted to fit. It would have been helpful if I had taken a measuring tape to be able to describe the total sizing range that this helmet fits, for the manufacturer's age ranges are a joke for a reliable way to size a helmet as many have stated. There was a dial-up internet connection With this helmet, the 'fit' function works well, it is quick and easy to adjust ON the child's head, and fits snugly so that it does not slip or shift around too much. I think it is really cool to be able to connect the hat to the child's head while it is on. The process of putting and taking a helmet on and off several times to adjust it would be a hassle for me and likely lead to my daughter having a meltdown. I am satisfied that I found a helmet that fits well and makes adjustments easily.
The product is poorly designed. I am not at all happy with this helmet after several short rides. It appears that the main problem is that the head retention system (the padded band with the clicky dial) is not attached securely to the While the helmet is attached to the chin strap, the helmet is not attached to the chin strap. I will share my experience here To begin with, I need to ensure that it is adjusted properly on my child's head, so that the chin strap and band are tight but not too In the next step, I put my son in the child seat (a Burley Dash RM) and adjust the harness to fit him. In order to look around at the world, any pressure on the back of the helmet (from the back of the seat) causes the rear of the helmet to lift and the headband to come off There are only four Velcro patches holding it in place. The helmet still has the band in place on my son's head, but it is now loose, and the chin strap doesn't prevent it from falling forward and covering his face entirely. In the end, his head is completely exposed, his vision is blocked, and he cannot see well. After you start riding, you will be able to do this within minutes. I completed my 30th mission on my 30th birthday I removed it from his head five times in the course of a ten-minute commute, reassembled it, and then put it back on, and I eventually gave up and drove It made me consider taking it off for the rest of the ride in order to spare him the pain.
I'm now shopping for another helmet since this one was too uncomfortable for him.
Our little girl is nearly three years old, so we purchased this. Sizing gave no indication what her head size should be. We measured her head while wearing the helmet. To give you a sense of scale, her head measures 19 inches. As the child is 25 inches tall, I should have gotten the infant size and not the toddler size. Regardless, it was so big he kept sliding all over the place, even when I believed he was in it She also had unnecessary tears flowing from her nose to her chin due to the tight fit. It's off just like that! It is secured on the side by velcro pieces that are very cheap. Is that true? Her head was getting bigger and I was going to replay it once her head got bigger but it just wouldn't do. Helmets are for your safety, or is that why we buy them? (We ended up with the joovy noodle and are so happy we didn't waste our money on this horrible product).
My frustration was obvious when I searched for a helmet that fit my 2 year old child. There was something about the 'elastic back' feature that I did not like about the helmets found at local stores. It is possible for the helmet to shift easily even at the 1+ size. This is
- The estimated size of the project is ** My daughter is almost 2 years old and her head (circumference) measures nearly 19 inches (80th percentile, if that helps). When I was able to put this helmet on her head I knew that 19" was the small size that this helmet would accommodate, so I gambled on it since I didn't know what size it was. Although I didn't quite dial it down to the smallest size, when I took it off, I had it very close to the smallest setting. She loves that it's so snug on her head without looking crooked. When it comes to the biggest it can go, the dial feature is large enough to accommodate more growth than the Nearly 21 inches are inside the helmet, so just above the biggest part of your head the helmet will be. I would like to suggest the following change Describe the head based on the actual measurements. All riding helmets that are designed for equestrians have this feature, and it reduces the emotional stress of purchasing a helmet. In a superficial sense, I'd like to mention that In my helmet, there was no yellow tape sealant (it was pink) and I particularly liked it. Despite the fact that she is still able to grow into it, it does not look gigantic. The purchase I made on Amazon has exceeded my expectations. Here is what I hope will help!.
