For my daughter who is almost 2 years old, I purchased this. We love the fact that the head piece inside can be adjusted to fit his head. A decent amount of padding is present. It's a pretty lightweight, which is perfect for him since he's still learning how to balance. With this product, you get a bag and an extra lining for the inside and an extra strap is wrapped around the chin to keep it from getting lost. This was an excellent buy given its low price. The matte grey color is also quite nice!.
My toddler is 24 months old, so I bought this for him. Despite the fact that you can adjust the back for size, the fitting is still loose. I've been trying to fix it for the last eight months (it's 32 It is not clear to me whether he will stay on it if he falls. If you have a larger head you will need thicker padding. It is just okay and depends on the size of your child's head.
In my opinion, I also like the adjustable knob on the back that tightens and/or loosens the strap. I would recommend this product.
Too easy for the device to rotate backward. The helmet had a lot of potential for me. In searching for a headgear that will provide adequate protection for biking and scootering, we identified many helmet choices. Although we were able to fit it to our 6 year old daughter, we noticed features that were not working properly. Specifically, once it was on her head, the helmet would pivot back and expose her entire forehead, which is exactly how a helmet should prevent her from receiving protection. Our team confirmed that the instruction should not be laid out this way. A subsequent investigation revealed the problem may have resulted from the way the head- and neck-adjustment piece was manufactured. Her old helmet was cut down to fit a smaller head, but it extended down only a small distance, maybe between a half inch and a half inch below the level line of the helmet. Most helmets extend outward by that same amount. A 52 ratio and a 21 ratio. A plastic strap mounted at the center of the back of the head secured the camera to the helmet as well Most children have the adjustment strap sit at the nape of their necks, thus preventing it from sitting there. As a result, most helmets do not have a center strap, including my old one, my husband's, and mine. The helmet was able to rotate back in a dangerous manner because of these three design choices. Because we didn't return the helmet in time and threw it out, we had to swallow the cost of the helmet as well.
There's a little room for growth but it's not too tight. The baby blue is pretty, and we now have it in our home. The strap under my chin has a padding piece so it is comfortable. There is also extra padding for the inside of the bag. I was a little apprehensive when I made my purchase, but I am very pleased with it!.
The past decade. This helmet is perfect in its concept and in its actual form! It's fairly obvious that I'm frustrated about this purchase and could have done without it. Since a few weeks ago, my son kept complaining about his helmet, complaining that it was bothering him. Due to the fact that he is not interested in riding sans helmet, it caused many arguments and tantrums! It turns out that my helmet was torn from the inside! When I finally realized the Tightening disk had been Because I remember exactly how it looked at the beginning, as long as I don't damage it before using it. You'll be pleased to know your little one's head will be protected with this.
Apparently, the thin plastic piece that connects the adjustable size wheel to the rest of the helmet just came off without even taking a hard hit or dropping it. The hat now slips right off of my daughter's head, and she cannot use it. This is junk! I DO NOT recommend that you purchase! We were very disappointed with how long it took to arrive after ordering the helmet.
