Despite the fact that it can be used for either purpose, it comes without a visor, which is a feature almost all mountain bikers As well as better ventilation, the design is also engineered to function at elevated speeds, instead of a more scooped-out design on an official MTB helmet Better air flow at lower speeds is achieved with "type" ventilation. However, there is so MUCH ventilation that it probably won't make an impact the way it would in the indoors!
I have worn less expensive helmets (maybe not the Atmos, sorry) and I have to admit they provided better ventilation, especially on very hot days. My rides are frequently in the 90s where I live in Tennessee. I love this helmet. It is light and strong, as well as the adjustment system works well. As for the mushroom on your head, it doesn't look like one. The hat fits best on head shapes that are oval in shape.
purchased a medium and it fits great
The answer is no, it isn't Apparently they do have the Synthe MIPS, but it costs around

The Synthe helmet likely saved my life. During the few short months I used it, it fit wonderfully, stayed firmly fastened to my head even without the chin strap buckled thanks to its Roc Loc system, and vented better than any of my previous helmets. Initially I was unsure how to set the straps so that my head would rest flush against them, but once that was done I never noticed them again. Previously on a family trip, I received a gift from my father-in-law A paced bike tour (also referred to as Despite my best efforts, I did fall hard enough to crack my helmet on the left side of my head. A second rider then rode over the opposite side of my head, making matters worse. As soon as I blacked out, I was sent to the emergency room. I received only a minor fracture to my cheekbone (which is not the helmet's fault), cuts to my face, and scrapes on my left knee, but my head is still intact. My helmet remained in place the entire time. PSA I am almost certain that this saved my life. WEAR A HELMET if you ride, and make sure you have a LOT of visibility One that is well-fitting and properly adjusted! It will feature MIPS. I'm going to buy a new Synthe.
Before this one, I had a Bontraeger, Bell, and a department store cheap Giro helmet. Although it wasn't cheap, the Bontraeger felt more like a hat than a helmet when it came to comfort.
The Roc Loc Air system gives you a sense of having a hat on rather than a helmet on. has a pretty, pretty light feel to it. There's a lot less heat in the room than I expected because the air gets right in. This is definitely a product I would.
If you want to layer, make sure you order up as this shirt is very light and breathes really A star is deducted for the lack of padding on this helmet, or instead for the minimalistic design. The weight is always there, the weight is always there. No, I do not race, so I am not overly concerned with my weight. Although it does help, it would be nice to have just a little bit of comfort, too. Padding was added to the inside of the crown, a soft padded wrap was added to the strap, and the front headband padding was swapped for a thicker one. It was done with the help of a beater helmet. As of now, it is really nice. I am not completely satisfied with the internal strap system that holds it to your head, however it is so light that I am not experiencing any issues. I have had it out for a few 50+ mile rides, and bought it I'm not a racer, and I ride a lot of long tours. The price was on sale for $125 from back country, so that's also a big help. My return would have been possible if I had paid in full. I've got a helmet that fits like a glove from the early days of LAS. However, it tends to be a little warmer and heavier compared to this one. The purchase of a summer top was prompted by the need to be light and airy.
It was the older version of the Giro Synthe that I received. They all have straps that differ primarily in the little connection between the two of them just below your ears. Original model has an awkward strap with a simple buckle, whereas the newer designs have a buckle with set angles built into the plastic that appears like a "Y", which looks better. In spite of those considerations, I am very satisfied with my purchase, given the discounted price. Known for its Synthe, this product has a devoted following. I ride in humid heat of up to 100 degrees every week, so it has to be light, aero, and ventilates well.
Over the course of a little over a year, I rode with this helmet before crashing and hitting my head hard. My head was saved and I did not suffer head damage as a result. There is a pretty good retention system. I have tried a bunch of helmets over the years, and this one falls into the upper-middle class I'd rate this helmet third in terms of comfort. It appears to look pretty good on both men and women. You might be able to find a good deal on this helmet. A price of $200 or more is definitely out of my reach.
I measured a Medium according to their chart. Once I received it I found that it was a bit The sensation felt like I had a peanut shell sitting on top of my head. There was only one thing left to do attach a propeller to the Thankfully, they exchanged it with a Large size and they are very happy with the result! When the dial-in button is pressed Dialing it out for use over a hood or skull cap makes it very versatile! The best way to improve ventilation is to improve it! There is only one thing that needs to be added It's taken a long time for MIPS to make its way to reality! I was amazed at how lightweight the helmet is! The big bucks were well worth it!.
The profile of this helmet has been reduced to increase aerodynamics, part of the reason for its increased aerodynamics. This helmet is shaped like a large oval, and it is also slightly tighter than others. In the event that you would like to pair it with a cap or balaclava and you are unsure if it will fit, you might consider looking elsewhere. I'm not a big fan of the build quality, especially around the edges where there is more exposed foam that will get damaged than I am used to seeing in helmets like the giro air attack or kask line. This helmet is a good one, if you can afford it on sale, because the roc lock forehead design allows it to breathe well. There is a lot of hype surrounding this helmet, so if you're not sure you should look at something else.
It's a great helmet! The KASK Mojito has been my main driver for a long time, so I was not planning on upgrading, but did some research regarding the new MIPS technology and decided to give it This helmet is really nice The first thing I noticed was how nice and low profile it looked. Next, I noticed that it fit perfectly Using the adjustment knob on the back of the helmet makes it easy to adjust the feel of As a final note, it breathes in a good way Located in South Florida, where the weather can get quite hot, this helmet is ideal because it has great air ventilation. This, together with its lightweight and high level of performance, ensure comfort and ensures In my opinion, this helmet deserves a thumbs up GIRO, you did a great job!.
