These are true to size and are made of a soft, light-weight material that stretches. Underneath, I wore my padded bike shorts, which were very comfortable.
For a long time, I've been looking for hiking biking women's shorts like this. br>Usually, women's shorts are shorter and tighter. br>My clothes are now looser and more airy, with pockets large enough for my phone and secure YKK zippers. br>In addition to snaps, the snap closure has hook and loop. br>Excellent craftsmanship! br>My husband already owned a lot of cargo shorts, but after seeing how nice mine are, he ordered a pair of these.
I'm a pear shape and have had issues with pants not fitting at the waist to accommodate my hips. These shorts are great for the price and the stretch is perfect. There are a lot of them. It's well-made.

It does not move. It's a real challenge. This is a nice stretch. Fits the description to a tee. It's not as baggy as some MTB shorts, but that means less sag, which is great for swinging on and off and getting down low for steep descents. When crashing down the side of a hill, the material stayed put and did not tear. I would definitely purchase another pair in a different color. br>Recent changes: I ordered two more pairs in gray shades, one of which had an unfinished seam when it arrived. I'd say it's one of the most comfortable things I've ever worn, as it's very light and stretchy. I ordered a size M, but it was too big, so I switched to a small, which fits perfectly (I'm 5'4" and weigh 140 pounds). The back rise is a little too long, but it's still a good deal, and the zipper pockets are huge, allowing you to secure a lot of items, which is great. I'm most likely going to get another one in a different color.
