These are ideal for spin class, and skipping them would be a huge mistake.
Delivery was very quick. Order a size larger than you normally would. I weigh 140 pounds and stand 5'5" tall. A medium 8 is my usual size. In shorts and pants, a ten. I placed an order for a large. They were made to go together. There were no sausage legs in the size medium that I had ordered last week. Padding wasn't great, but it got the job done on a 16ml ride. I'd buy it again.
The fit is ideal, and the chamois is sufficient - not too big - It's also not visible from the front or back. The shorts are so comfortable that I almost forgot I was wearing them. I went for an 11-mile bike ride last night, and these were fantastic, except for my chubby leg chaffing. I'm going to order another pair because they're so good! br>Size: x-small x-large x-large x-large This is a difficult subject to discuss because everyone is built differently and prefers a different sensation. I normally wear a large in all of my clothes - I have a smaller waist and carry my weight in my buttocks and thighs, so I ordered the XL and they are perfect! I've been losing weight, and these are snug enough to be comfortable, and I think they'll last a while once I lose a few more pounds. br>I'd like to point out that in the photo, the black fabric appears to have a texture to it - It's a nice pattern to look at. Not so - It's just a pair of plain black shorts. I took another look at the computer image, and it appears to be pixelated on my monitor. So don't hold your breath for a fancy fabric pattern.
During the ten-mile ride, my sit bones were the most bothersome. br>br>After doing some research, I came across this couple- a solid, high-quality, low-cost option br>br>**A disclaimer: I've never owned a pair of bicycle shorts before, so I can't compare them to anything. *
br>The padding on this pair is just right. It should be neither too thin nor too thick. I took it for a test drive today, and it made a significant difference. I'm not in the least bit bothered by it. br>In terms of fit, I ordered a medium size and it fits perfectly (I am 5 feet tall). br>Material is not thick and breathable (weight 5, 130 pounds). It doesn't seem to be able to get any higher. Overall, I'm very pleased!.
I went with the medium because I'm 5'8" and weigh 155 pounds. They were comfortable, but the thighs were a bit tight. I did keep them, however, because I had just purchased a new bike and needed some well-padded shorts to ride it. After that, I bought a large, which fit perfectly. I can't express how much I appreciate the padding in these shorts. I thought the padding was a little excessive because it was so long and wide at first, but it's the perfect design for leaning over or sitting up straight. I rode my new bike, which has a much smaller seat, and I felt absolutely no discomfort. When I get used to a new seat, I usually get bruised, but I didn't have any pain or bruising. That's a first; I'm going to buy more pairs of these shorts, and they'll be the only ones I wear.
Good quality, thick padding, but not enough coverage on the "wing sides. " In comparison to my other shorts, the chamois size appears to be too small/short overall. All around, they're about an inch shorter. br>br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. br>The owner was extremely helpful and promptly sent me a new pair with a better chamois. It has now become the industry standard. 16- The 18w and 2XL are a good match.
I was perplexed by the sizing reviews. My waist, hips, and highs measure 28 inches, 38 inches, and 28 inches, 38 inches, respectively. I went with medium because that's what the chart said I needed, but it was too tight. I returned it and replaced it with a large. The legs are still a little tight, but I think that's how they're supposed to be to keep them from riding up. There is plenty of room in the waist, so if yours is 29" or even 30", you'll be fine; I was worried there wouldn't be enough padding based on the picture, but there is plenty. These are items that I would buy again.
The fabric feels slightly thicker than another brand I purchased (which is a good thing). That other brand was returned, and I immediately placed an order for another Nooyme before the price increased again. I got it for less than $20, and I'm confident it's not a B. This type of high-quality bike shorts, with silicone dots on the leg to keep them in place, will be available at M store for this price. It's just the right amount of padding - There isn't a bulge in the front of your shirt. This item is fantastic, and I'm so glad I came across it. br>My height and weight are 5'2" and 115 pounds, respectively. I don't have a particularly large buttocks or hips. The medium was just right.
