By and large, it works well. However, there are Since the sleeve is stretchy and you can wear them over anything, it holds up reasonably well without a silicone ring to hold it up. I'm just not as good as I used to be. The second thing you don't want to do is put the sleeves in the washing machine. I did and the elastic thread at the top came out and tied the whole load. The only way to wash is by hand. They are a lot of fun and I will probably order more of them!.
