Polyester makes me sweat and makes me feel uneasy, so I avoid it at all costs. But I needed something to wear in the sun, and I didn't want to be wearing a drenched cotton shirt. So I was sceptical of the idea that this would make me feel better. But wow! It makes me feel a lot more at ease than just wearing my underwear. I got it for beach fishing so I could have a short sleeve shirt to let some air in during the summer, and I still use it for that, but I also wear it for everyday activities like driving if I know I'll be out in the sun and heat all day. Also, it appears to be an undershirt rather than a pullover, which is pretty cool.
Because I am left-handed, I purchased these to protect my arms while shooting. I'm right-handed, and I'd like to keep my bracing arm safe from ejections from the case. These fit perfectly and are very comfortable, even though my arms are quite skinny. I haven't had a shell land on me yet, so I haven't had the opportunity to put them to the test, but they look so good on me that I don't mind.
Your capillary return will be negatively impacted. As a nurse, I can tell you that this chokes your bloodstream. They're too close together. To wear this, you must be chubby or not athletic at all. The same can be said for your face's gaiter.
After a few machine washes (delicate cycle), the stitches remained intact. (For my arm) it isn't too long. The anti- The top (bicep) end of the sleeve has a slip elastic band that keeps the sleeve from rolling or slipping down my arm during intense activity. This arm sleeve comes highly recommended by me.

These are fantastic for keeping the sun off of your shoulders. However, you should be cautious about the size you choose. I purchased three small mediums, but they were too small for me, so I gave them to a neighbor. Unless you are extremely thin, avoid the small medium sizes. Three of these were a complete waste of money on my part.
