Selected User Reviews For Troy Lee Designs Sprint Metric Men's BMX Pants
The crotch area is strangely snug, as others have mentioned, but they're a great pair of pants overall. I'm 5'6 32 waiste and had to have them shortened 2 inches (I prefer riding pants to be shorter) and they fit and look great. I even put them to the test at Trestle Bike Park and they didn't rip and lasted the entire weekend. Lightweight, fashionable, and (so far) durable, with enough room for tapered knee pads.
Good fit. The waist band straps work well, and the pants did not slip down while riding. br>I have a 34" waist, and the size 34 was perfect. br>In general, I think they're well-designed.
These are what I use for mountain biking on the trails and downhill. I like how form-fitting it is, with enough room underneath for POC knee pads and padded hip shorts. Peddling back up the trail was also not too pleasant. br>I'm giving them a four-star rating because I haven't wrecked in them yet, so I can't comment on how well they will hold up. br>I think they'll hold up, but we'll have to wait and see.
These pants were purchased in order for me to resume BMX riding. They were a little on the pricey side, but the quality was well worth the money. br>br>What I like about them is that they aren't overly padded with knee and shin guards, etc. , so you can move around freely while riding a bike, but they do provide the necessary protection if you fall. br>br>I ordered my regular waist size, and they fit perfectly. The fit should be just right, not too tight or too loose. br>br>These are something I would buy again.
They didn't bother me in the least. comfortable and suffocatingly suffocatingly suffoc I wore them downhilling in Angle Fire and was completely comfortable the entire time. Because these are BMX-style pants, crash with caution.
Will return and will not place another order. Cons: I'll be back, but I'm not going to order anything else. These pants were purchased at the same time as a Troy Lee Designs long sleeve to wear while riding. I took the pants out of the box, tried them on, and then the flood began. I'm not sure what kind of manican you're using, but he doesn't seem to be doing a good job with the 34 waist. In the crotch area, there is almost no space. Stuffy to the extreme. Positives: br>br> It's a fantastic material that's also very appealing to the eye.
I've never ridden in one of these. However,
the fit , craftsmanship, flexibility, and material are 100%. br>I'd give these 5 stars once I've had a chance to ride in them and see if they're deserving.
