Questions & Answers

Is this bib different from the Baleaf Men's Pro II Gel Padded Cycling Bib Shorts in terms of sizing?

The dimensions are the same.

I am 5'9" tall, weigh 188 pounds, and have a 34" waist and 32" inseam. I'm not sure what size to get. I don't think it's a good idea to go on for too long?

I'm 175 pounds with a 33" waist and 30" inseam, and the medium is perfect for me.

Is it customary to wear socks over or under the stirrups?

Under the stirrups are a pair of stirrups and a pair

From my mid-20s to my mid-50s, I wore these
5/5

I bought these because I live in Michigan and wanted to extend my season. I've worn these on at least 25 rides and am very pleased with them. Comfortable chamois pad with gel inserts for the sit bones. I've ridden them in temperatures as low as the mid-twenties. When the temperature drops below the mid-thirties, wear athletic underwear to keep your junk warm. (Where you sit, there are few seams. ) My legs / quads feel chilly on really cold rides (low 30's and below) until I get my blood pumping, and then I'm fine; probably a little warm for 50's for me. You will stay warm thanks to the micro fleece lining. (I'm looking for some 50's unlined capris. ) ) I haven't noticed any early signs of wear, as some have. There isn't much to say that isn't negative. I'm 5'10" and weigh 165 pounds, and I wear a size medium. They're snug but comfortable, which is exactly what they should be. *** Update. br>br> I've been wearing these for almost a year and they're still in great shape. They haven't worn out prematurely, and there haven't been any problems with seams, stitching, or anything else. They've been fantastic, and I highly recommend them.

These are my first long bibs, and I love them
4/5

Pros: These are my first long bibs, and I've already worn them twice in two days. They've kept me warm on two rides in the mid-40s to upper-30s so far, without the need for a base layer underneath or an extra pair of shorts or warmers on top. Although the wind brings a slight chill, I was never cold. I believe these would work well on their own in the low 30s at the very least. The fleece is soft and comfortable, and the shammy is suitable for my 40-mile runs. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. Stitching quality isn't great, and frays are a possibility, but they're decent for the price. The straps are a little itchy, but with a base layer underneath, they are fine; my only complaint is that the legs, particularly the stirrups, are a little long for a large. I'm 5'11" and 205 pounds, and the waist fits well, but the legs are too long for me. I almost returned them for a medium (which I never wear). I think I'll stick with these because I think medium will start to feel too small up top, but I end up stretching them out by putting the stirrup over my shoe rather than on the inside (inside the shoe they feel a little bulky because they don't fit snugly under my foot). I try to pull all of the leg slack up around my knees, which seems to work fairly well, but it exposes the part of my leg just behind the tongue of my shoe, exposing only the sock, leaving a wind gap. br>br>Apart from that, I think they're great and would recommend them for the price.

Bib tights that are very well made
5/5

Although the material is thinner than that of my pearl izumi thermal tights, the price is very reasonable. I was skeptical about how well these tights would keep me warm in the winter. Rides in the cold. These will show the outline or definition of all anatomical features, as others have pointed out. I went for a 30-mile ride in 45-degree weather. The tights were extremely comfortable to wear and kept me warm. These bibs' padding isn't as thick as other bibs I've tried, but it seemed sufficient. I didn't give them a second thought during my ride, unlike my pearl Izumi tights, because they were neither binding nor restricting in any way. I'll have to put them through their paces at a lower temperature. When the temperature drops below 35 degrees, I believe they may be less effective at keeping you warm. The temperature has dropped to 40 degrees. I'll post an update once I've had a chance to try them out in the colder weather. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I went for a 25-mile run in 37-degree weather with a 5-minute rest. Winds of 6 miles per hour. I was in a good mood.

Fits well enough, with some loose stitching, but it's been four years and it's still going strong! So, as suggested by others, I ordered a size smaller to ensure they weren't "too long
4/5

" They fit my thighs, calves, and waist perfectly, but they are slightly too long, which is manageable. They're more comfortable and warm than I expected, and the fleece is soft, though my legs got cold and cramped on the 35-minute walk. Wind can be felt through them on 40°F days (in 15 mph winds), but that's my fault because I didn't have any wind breakers. br>br>The chamois is large enough to cover all of the man-made surfaces. My butt cheek bones, on the other hand: ) are mostly exposed due to the fact that the butt- Padding sits a little too high on the tailbone and/or isn't wide enough near the cheekbone area. However, I've found that adjusting my seat to a more passive posture helps. It's also cushioned enough for my sensitive back to be pain-free after three days of 20-mile rides! Given that it's been 12 years since I've cycled. yeah. It's not something my butt is used to. That is quite a compliment! )br>br>This is my only real gripe. and it's a significant one. The stitching is already coming undone. I only bought one pair (this was my first time using this brand) and have already worn them on eight rides. An "X" seam on the right thigh is unraveling the stitching. Everything else seems to be holding up well, but I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before more comes undone. I'm going to get in touch with the seller and see what I can do. br>br>**EDIT** After I submitted this review, the seller contacted me and graciously offered to make things right. I was humbled by their offer, but I declined it. Instead, I hand-stitched the loose area, as well as the same area on the opposite leg, with fine polyester sewing thread. (which wasn't coming undone, but it felt like a good idea to even things out). Having only hand-washed them and alternated with three other identical pairs for the past four winters/springs, these are still in remarkable condition. The fleece lining is a little thinner than it once was, and the chamois (butt padding) is worn out, but so is my backside. Even when I was hit by a car, these held up well. On my back, I slid a good 20 feet across the pavement (not asphalt)! It scuffed the concrete-contact area, but there were no holes, no loose stitches, and, as I previously stated. . . I've worn them for the fourth winter/spring season! I'll get more if I can afford it!.
