This jacket is great. I am very happy with it. I've had it for about a month now and used it both for rainy days and for cold ones. As of now, I use it primarily for commuting. It is not really comfortable for me to wear a jacket when I am on long rides because I eventually A 9-mile commute one way is the distance between my home and my office. Several times I got hit by decent downpours, and the jacket worked great at keeping me dry and warm. I have used it a couple of times when the temperatures have been 30 degrees or below, and it keeps me plenty warm from beginning to end of a ride. I can only think of one con for this item, which is it doesn't ventilate so well, so on slightly warmer days it might get very I thought people said it ran small, but for my commute it is perfect.
Thought I saw people say It seems to be true to size even if it is slightly larger than expected. Wearing one large and one XL, I am closer to a medium than a large. Despite being somewhat loose, the large is comfortable and flattering. In your opinion, if I were wearing it for weekend rides (usually less than 50 miles) I would choose a smaller size.
The jacket is marketed as waterproof, but at best it is a windbreaker, or maybe it is water-repellent. Due to its 100% nylon construction, it keeps you dry for about half an hour when it rains. I find this rather disappointing, there's nothing special about it. Although the jacket isn't terrible looking, the zipper appears to be pretty good quality, but it really is no different than any other windbreaker you have in your closet, and it is a bit noisy when you move around in it. It is likely that I will send it back since I already have another windbreaker. If you don't have a windbreaker, it is not worth your time or money to buy it. In case you don't know, I am six feet tall and weigh about 180 pounds. The large was probably the best size for most of you who actually want to buy it.
It is a water-resistant jacket that I have worn several times while cycling in the rain. On each of the days, there was light to moderate rainfall. Although it kept me dryer and more comfortable than I would have been without it, to call it waterproof is stretching it. When it rains, the thin fabric underneath my layer gets damp, and sometimes I can feel raindrops penetrating through it. A positive aspect of this is that it is breathable, so you won't Additionally, the ease of storage and lightness make it a great choice The origami on the other hand would be out of my league because I lack the skills A square can be turned into it by following the sequence indicated by the manufacturer. Having said that, if you only ride occasionally in light rain, I would recommend it as the price is right and the ride is You may have other options to choose from if you are coping with heavy downpours.
So far, I have not tried this in the rain, but it fits perfectly nonetheless. It is primarily a shirt) but not much else. This was purchased for riding in the summer when it is prone to storms, and you have to put on new clothing quickly. It is of very good quality.
My usual size is XXL, and when the extra large does not fit properly, I go with the XXL. I'd say this is a large for me. There is at LEAST a size difference between the markings and the actual size. I knew I was buying an inexpensive jacket, and you shouldn't expect too much from me. This is, however, an extraordinary example of chintzy behavior. While it looks pretty nice, and it shipped quickly, so that should score some points with me, this is a flimsy rain jacket that probably won't last more than a few wet days. Rather than risk investing in this, I recommend staying away from it. I am returning because of sizing issues, but I am kind of glad it did not.
Vents are required under the armpits or around the scapula. You get just as wet from condensation on the inside as you would from the elements once you zip into it.
There is a little pocket built into the back as well as the fact that it folds up into a little bag. There is some thinness to it. In the absence of peddling, it will not keep you warm. If it is 50 degrees in the early spring, I'd say it's good for those 50 degrees because it stops the wind reaching your chest, but I wouldn't wear it if it's colder.
That's what I read about sizing up to make sure you're getting a proper fit. My jacket is kind of baggy, I like to run with a jacket that fits more tightly. She loves it and I gave it to my wife who doesn't run. My mother had been ill for a long time and I had no money to buy anything I am eager to find out. A medium build and 5'5" make me a good candidate for the position. Hiking along trails and strolling along the beach are among my favorite things to do. We got caught in the rain (and we got wet).
