Questions & Answers
The socks I have on are an XL and I'm a size 10. They were uncomfortable and too tight for me in the Large.
The year began in January. The Wooleater model, made of 61% American Merino Wool, 37% nylon, and 2% Lycra, is also available in the Woolie Boolie model which is made of 49% nylon, 48% American Merino Wool, I use both of these for cooler and cold weather riding and am very happy with them. While I bought them, I am not sure I noticed that they had different fabric makeup. There seems to be a different design on the current version of the website? Besides the "Aireator", I have a pair that is 60% nylon, 39% CoolMax, and 1% Lycra for summer wearing. There is no way I can answer that part of your question since I am not sure of the source of the wool socks (the Aireator version came from Nashbar). It is not uncommon for you to be able to return an item if it does not
If I remember correctly, it was only a pair of shoes.
A large size. In the past, I have worn both medium and large shoes, and I have exactly that size feet. They will shrink very slightly if you wash them normally in the washer, so buying large is the way to go

Within the first 2 miles. The sock had stretched out completely and was no longer snug or supportive around my foot. It also felt like a loose cloth bag around my foot in my shoe after 5 miles. My first reaction was to grab the cuff at the back to pull the heel up and make it not so loose, and it immediately ripped with not much effort. As soon as I took my socks off after the walk, they looked like balloons that had deflated. Not sure what happened, but I hope to get a refund for these socks. I used to like them and they would last a long time.
It is a joke to sell "premium" socks like that. Unfortunately, I cannot return to this place. You didn't waste your money on these. They were good for a little while, but I expected much more for their price. The following updated information is correct as of Several weeks ago, I got in touch with Their response time was quick, they sent me a new pair right away, and they were very This new pair of socks looks great, but we will have to wait to see how durable they will be. All in all, I am extremely impressed with the sock and their customer service (I worked with someone who was knowledgeable). It would be a 5 star if these ones lasted.
These socks stay in place during all of these activities because I'm fairly active. I run, lift, dance, and hike with these socks. In addition to being comfortable, they breathe well and are fairly durable (but they will get holes after a while). There is no stink coming from these socks. Even though it might be gross, I wear socks for a few days before washing them. I don't smell anything coming from these. I wash these socks when they become crusty or visibly soiled and air dry them. Since I have discovered these socks, I buy only them.
It is a few years old but I have the same style and size of Wooleater socks. They rate five stars on the old ones and one on the new ones. In spite of what the new ones look like, they're made very poorly, including toe seams that are uncomfortable to The fabric for the tops was also twisted prior to assembly.
Feel the freshness of wool socks - they are light and airy. This material is very thin, has excellent wicking properties, and can be used for streams, sand, and gravel, and even snow without much effort. They dry quickly when wet and fight off odor, which synthetics and performance materials have a tendency to retain. An extra layer of protection is provided by the weave of the bottom of the sock, which is stronger than the weave on top. It's time for me to leave darn tough socks which I have used for years and go full time with this brand.
Andrew Skurka told me about these. I developed a hole in the flesh of one toe on my third day (it had probably done 20 miles by then). The other hand, they are very comfortable. I don't care for Darn Tough because they're too thick for me. My preferred alternative is smartwool ultra thin PhD, which is slightly less comfortable, but more durable.
Since I want some thin wool socks for rock climbing, I wanted some thin, thin wool socks since my feet sweat after climbing a while, I lose some traction, and the socks will stink my shoes. There was a solution to all three problems with these socks. As a size 9, I am 5'11" and weigh 168 pounds. The size is 10 (men's) and the fit is perfect. There is a mesh pattern on top and they are quite thin (and yet durable). They wick sweat well. two hours of climbing in the rock climbing gym, my feet remain dry and comfortable, making it easy to put on and take off my.
They hold up well. The socks are absolutely amazing. They wear like iron in cool weather, and they are gorgeous in the summertime. In addition to wearing mine in the summer, I wear it in the other seasons as well. ride my bikes about 6500 miles a year, and I have two pairs of these that will begin their 4th season this spring.
