The fabric is lightweight and skin-friendly, and there are two zipper pockets and an adjustable elastic waist. kindly.
No, the padding isn't separate; it's built right in.
WOW. I made certain that these zipper pockets are large enough to hold more than just your phone and wallet.

It was exactly what I had hoped for.
Made in China, this item is a bit on the small side. Cycling shorts that are well-made and have a generous amount of padding. When I'm walking around, I find them strange, but when I'm cycling, they're very useful. Other than for cycling, I would not wear these! It's also not possible to wear them for anything else because the padding is sewn into the liner and the liner isn't removable. The shorts are comfortable once you're seated to ride, but they're not designed for walking around in. I wouldn't wear these unless I was biking.
Internally padded cycling tights are included in these Hiauspor bike shorts. It feels like you're wearing a diaper, and the part in between your thighs (the perineal area) is a little wide for me, so these rub against my thighs when I walk. I'm not sure if this is typical or not, as these are my first pair of padded biking shorts. The padding does not interfere with pedaling once on the bike seat, however, and it does make riding a bike more comfortable. br>br>Because I only bike for commuting, I can't really comment on how it performs over long distances or when subjected to strenuous physical exertion. Even after switching to a more padded bike seat, my back was still hurting, and while this helps a little, the pain is still there. I'm not sure if I just need to ride more to increase my tolerance. br>br>I like the pockets because they're big and roomy enough to fit my phone, wallet, and keys in. br>br>In terms of appearance, it's just fine. The padding will be visible, and these shorts otherwise appear to be exercise shorts. br>br>As far as biking shorts go, they're pretty good.
I ride a road bike, but prefer to ride in shorts when mountain biking. These shorts are fantastic. You won't be able to remove the inner liner or padding because it is sewn in around the entire waist. There is plenty of padding. Both sides have good front pockets, and two zippered front/side pockets for storing a phone or billfold are located below the front pockets. These are made for biking because they have a stretchy elastic waist and drawstring closure, but no front zipper. I purchased a pair with a removable liner and a front zipper from this company, which I also use for hiking. I won't be doing that with these, and I'm a little disappointed, despite the fact that they're good shorts. The shorts that can be used for hiking and biking are my favorites.
