Her knit gloves were too thin to keep her warm. She desired gloves that were warm but not bulky, similar to snow gloves, and that she could zip up her coat and play games while wearing them. For her, these gloves are ideal. br>br>I ordered a medium based on the size chart, but they were much too large. She looks great in the small, and there's plenty of room for her to grow this spring. These, according to my daughter, keep her hands warm when she goes outside for recess or gym. The palm grips are also a favorite of hers. She also stated that they protect her hands if she falls and puts her hands down to catch herself, which is an improvement over the knit gloves, which used to rip if she fell and put her hands down to catch herself.
Because the description stated that these gloves are good for skiing, we purchased them for a snow play trip. My 6-year-old couldn't wear the very small gloves because they were too big, but that's a personal issue. They kept his fingers warm while we were in Big Bear. However, when we began playing with snow, which I assumed would be fine because skiing takes place in the snow, his gloves became completely soaked. Before I realized there was a lot of water, he started complaining about his fingers hurting. I was able to twist them off and ring out the water that had collected when I removed them. Needless to say, they were no longer of any use after that. So, I'd buy them for all of the other things on the list except skiing and snow play.
These gloves were way too big for my 7-year-old son, but they fit my 10-year-old perfectly. Although these gloves are not as warm as I had hoped, I gave them a 5 star rating because they are extremely soft on the inside and thin enough to allow easy finger movement. It would be easier to order the correct size if the sizing information were updated.
These gloves are mostly for the fall and sort of good for rainy days because the gloves were not as warm so it was nice to not get too hot like the winter gloves. Not as great for cold snowy days and the touch screen part worked very well these gloves are mostly for the fall and the touch screen part worked very well these gloves are mostly for the fall and sort of good for rainy days because the gloves were not as warm so it was nice to not get too hot like the winter gloves.
It's fine; my son enjoys them, and they do keep him warm. They aren't warm enough to spend long periods of time playing in the snow.
It's a nice size that isn't too big. Wear them as a liner under another pair of gloves or for outdoor sports because they allow for more dexterity.
My daughter is a soccer player, and these have been extremely helpful in keeping her warm. They have a soft interior.
LOVE THE QUALITY AND WOULD BUY EVERY SEASON, BUT OUR GRANDCHILD REQUIRES LARGER SIZE.
