Are the measurements on the size chart accurate?

Yes, it fit me perfectly; my hand is 16cm long. Before placing an order, you can take a measurement of the circumference of your hands. It's a fantastic acquisition. And I rode with my friends while wearing the gloves, and we had a great time. Good luck and have a great ride!

What is a suitable size for a child of 8 years old?

Large, in my opinion. The description includes a sizing chart, which I carefully read before purchasing the gloves. You won't have to worry about them being too tight because the wrist area is slightly adjustable with Velcro. I chose the Medium size for my 6-year-old son, and it fits perfectly; cycling is his favorite sport.

Great gloves, but they run a little small

These are fantastic children's gloves! The dinosaur design is fantastic, and the padded gel on the palm side is extra nice and cushioned! I would have given these gloves five stars, but I only gave them four because they are extremely small. I had to purchase three different sizes in order to find one that would fit our 5-year-old grandson. I ended up ordering a size Xlarge, which is barely big enough; There isn't any space for expansion. For comparison, our grandson can fit into my adult small workout gloves, but I had to order an XL in these, despite the fact that he isn't overweight. A 5 year old of average size. Aside from that, the gloves are of excellent quality and the design is attractive.

Both are in a large size and fit perfectly! They are easy to put on and have a suede patch padding for added safety. I strongly advise it.

My daughter has special needs and is unable to walk, so she crawls around all the time. The padding on these gloves is nice and thick, and they hold up well. They're simple to put on and remain in place.

My daughter enjoys wearing these gloves, which allow her to climb the monkey bars and rope dome at the playground for longer periods of time. When she rides her bike or scooter, we use them as well. Her little hands are also free of blisters and calluses. Great product, but I'm not sure I'll purchase it again.
