No, a bike with 29" wheels will not fit. I've only tried it on 20" BMX bikes, and I'm not sure it'll fit a 24" BMX bike.

My T-shirt has plenty of space. There is one barcode with the number 21 on it. Top tube size is 25. The straps secure everything so well that you could use this bag for bondage sex if you wanted to. I don't judge if you want to carry a complete set of tools or a bunch of butt plugs in your tool bag. I'd buy it again if I needed two, but I only need one. We will be rescued by Van Homan.
I wanted to fly with my 24" BMX Redline Cruiser, and this bag almost worked, but I couldn't stack the tires in the wide part of the bag and still get it closed, even with the tires deflated. However, if you have a 20-inch bike, it appears to be a good bag.
