Fully expanded, the interior dimension is 48 inches wide by 11 inches high by 31 inches high with a 2 inch overlap

Finished with a vinyl laminate and a carpet lining on the interior, 1/4 inch plywood medium duty construction.

Angle and channels are fabricated from heavy gauge PVC and fully nailed around the exterior

The handles are heavy duty metal recessed handles - Corners and shoulders were made from thick gauge polyethylene and buckles were made of plastic nylon.

Foam roll that measures 21 x 54 x 1/2" and foam strip measurements of 2 x 3 x 54 for customizing the interior

Good to hear from you There is a plastic trim around the corners and bindings of this case, which makes it quite light-duty. Using this case is only for transportation of personal items, not for commercial use.

I was so pleased when I came across this find on Amazon! In this case, the large size, my 29er fits perfectly with room to spare for the tires, and I don't even have to deflate them! You can get going as soon as you remove the handlebars and pedals! It is made with foam padding, has easy straps and handles, and an inside that is carpeted so it won't scratch. I am going to fight American airlines because this box doesn't "look like a bike box. " It is easy for me to imagine that it could fit two road bikes here. The wheels shown in this picture are 29 inch Scott Spark 910 size medium.
