Questions & Answers

Is an expert assembly performed by someone?

If you don't need the expert assembly, don't get it. The bike arrives almost fully assembled, so I didn't have to do anything. The only thing I had to do was tighten two hex bolts. After just 10 minutes of riding it, I was there.

When the box is taken off of the bike, what is the net weight? Are you able to carry it up stairs easily?

Folding up this chair is very easy. There is a lot more weight in this bike than in my road bike. I reckon it weighs The answer is unknown. When you are going up stairs, it can be tough to hold the bicycle in front of you to cut off all dirt or grease from getting on you.

How big are the dimensions of this unusual folding bike when it is folded up?

No idea if this would fit in the backseat or trunk of my Chevy Impala.

Can you tell me how much weight the bike itself holds?

This model weighs approximately 32 pounds

You should be careful around the pedal holes
3/5

There is a common problem with this. rode for 3 weeks and then the pedal just broke off, so I tried to fix it When I attempted to assemble it, the thread was damaged and I couldn't screw it back in. During the process of writing this review, I was able to locate several other people who were experiencing this problem, and it looks like this is a common one. While I was unhappy with the product itself, I was more upset with how Amazon Customer Support handled the return. I initiated a return but threw out the original box because it worked fine for the first three The first thing I did was speak with one of the agents and they firmly told me that I do not My bike can simply be delivered via UPS and the packaging will be handled by them. I immediately chatted with an Amazon agent when I actually dropped off the box at UNP, UPS said I'd have to pay $100 for the box, so I went to UPT to drop off. I waited for 40 minutes before Amazon customer service was able to come back and tell me they are investigating. After that, I spent another 20 minutes on the phone. I waited 1 hour before getting back to you. In order to initiate the return, they told me I would need a box. To begin with, I find it lame that I'm still waiting after 1 hour for customer service to say that I need a box. Second, this is a defective product, and I am not able to believe that Amazon will hold me responsible for the $100 box cost. The most important advice I can offer to anyone buying this product is to be aware of the common defect on the pedal and to keep your big box otherwise you won't be eligible for any kind of.

There is no better bike for the price
4/5

The bike arrived assembled, except I had to screw on the pedals, the bell, and the reflector to the handle bars. The setup process is fairly straightforward. While it is heavier than anticipated, I can manage to lift it (I weigh 98 lbs) and I get a good arm workout out of it. Although I can fold it and unfold it fairly easily, I must use a bit of effort to put it away in the closet because it's kind of heavy. However, the more I do it, the more comfortable I become, so in the end I shouldn't have any problems. Compared to other bikes, this one rides very well, and is the perfect height for me (5'1"). In fact, the seat can go even lower than my current setting, allowing it to accommodate even smaller people or children. My bike has six gears, which is sufficient for walking around my neighborhood (which is the majority of my biking). Since I feel like it could be lighter and the handlebars squeak when I turn them, I don't really get the feeling that I'm riding the most quality bike, but it's good enough for $175 and I'm happy with it.

I really like that it came in one piece and was fully assembled when I received it

There are no pedals to replace (pedals screwed straight into the chassis). My body is quite tall and I have bad knees, as well as pinched nerves in my back. I generally ride a recumbent bike, but recently have been getting bored with it, so I tried this out, and I am so glad that I did! When you go all the way up to the seat (I upgraded the seat), and go all the way up to the handle bars, it will not fit your body. Basically, I just removed the safety ties that held the folding bike in its folded position and closed the folding latches, as well as made sure the tires were inflated. It is not necessary to use any tools! A few important things to know a black ring across the top of the handle bar folder is the lock, so be sure to activate it otherwise, the bars will fold when you least expect them. A thumb screw is located on one side of the clamp for the handle bar and seat bar. Tighten it several times before using the lever to lock it in place. As far as the folding joint on the body goes, it has not been a problem in my regular use, although someone else mentioned it would not hold much stress.

From the day I opened the box, I loved this bike! For the first time, I have a folding bicycle and I am in love with I had to inflate the tires after it already came assembled out of the box
5/5

There is no bike I like more than this one. I recommend it highly wife, who is 5 feet 2 inches, and myself, who is 5 feet 7 inches, were both able to ride it with no problem. It has easily adjustable handlebars My girlfriend and I have taken it on the road and it is comfortable for medium distances, but I mainly use it to run our dog and explore RV campgrounds because we live on the road full time. Exhibits a stylish design.

There is a mess in the pedal holes
3/5

My favorite things about this product are its good design (such as quick folding, and the ability to customize the seat height and handlebar height to meet my specific needs) and customer service (they are quick to respond, and have great customer service). There's something about the weight and lack of a mechanism to keep it folded that makes it a little heavy for a bike that will sometimes fit in the trunk of a car. Other than that, I don't see any major issues with it. Is that why the star rating is only one? The possibility of throwing a bike in the trunk of an Uber every once in a while sounded attractive to me since I was going to stay late studying after classes It seemed like a good idea for me to get a folding bike. A defective folding mechanism was present in the bike when it arrived, but after reporting it, IDS sent a replacement in a matter of days. Additionally, I didn't report that the left pedal wasn't able to be screwed into the left pedal hole completely, but it was working fine so I didn't As a result of carpooling with my roommate, I stopped riding my bike. After an eight-month hiatus, I started to use it again. It became apparent at some point that the left pedal was not in the pedal hole. In my attempt to place the pedal back, I found that the pedal hole was damaged. Due to the fact that I ordered the pedal 8 months ago, I was informed that they were unable to make a replacement or refund. (I didn't complain because I had not reported the issue with the pedal before, so I figured that I contributed to the problem. ) In order to install the pieces, I ordered them through the internet. This is what happened when the right pedal got yanked out of the right pedal hole today It has also been damaged in the pedal hole. The bike is a beautiful machine, but it has too many issues.

We expected better, but it was better than we The experience so far has been very positive
5/5

I am a mechanic and a bicycle fanatic and bought this on a whim based on the description alone. But it seems to have excellent build quality and it seems like a great travel bicycle or an easy way for you to get Racks like those included in this kit are a great addition. The only slight complaint I would make is that you have to use a pair of pliers to tighten the thumb screw on seat clamp to hold it firmly in place. Assembling it was easy other than that.
