I advise you not to buy
3/5

When I first heard about this bike, I was intrigued and I trusted most reviews, but after just two weeks with it, I am no longer sure. It took 3 weeks for one of the pedals to completely break. The pedal did not unscrew itself, but the bar of the pedal came off AND it did not unscrew itself either.

A fun way to commute to work
4/5

As soon as you learn how to fold/unfold this bike, you'll have no trouble doing so. This was a simple project to put together. It was said that the bike shop's safety inspection was successful. I enjoy shifting, but it can be buggy from time to time, so I will need to try several times before I am able to lock into a Since I am 5'6" and the size seems right, it seems to be an excellent fit. Although I weigh over 200 pounds, I have not had any problems with my weight. It is a little difficult to sit in the seat, however. The idea of upgrading to something more comfortable is on my mind. In the long term, we'll see how it holds up.

Making a poor job of it
3/5

I returned it, but I was charged shipping fees for returning it. I wouldn't recommend it. Upon folding, your leg is hit by the joint. It's so painful!.

A very high quality product! This is a great bike
5/5

That's great, I love it! The model I think is the most basic that they provide. I like how the quality is good, and how it is lightweight Folding is what makes it special, but make sure you put the seat stool all the way down, so when it's closed, the paddle wheel won't crash on the floor and break. If you're still trying to decide if you want to do this or not, I hope my pictures can be of help to you. Trust me when I say you won't be sorry.

I think that this bike is amazing
5/5

In a nutshell The following corrections were made on 5/19/21 It has gone up by 62 cents or $100 in a short period of time. The rate of growth has been less than 5% in Yes, it is for the "updated" model, but a description of what it means is lacking. model that is available is not the standard model. I don't like it. Note There was no free promotion for a good review in exchange for this bike. It cost me $160 to get it. It just so happens that I love bikes, so I think this is a great niche item for some. At first, Amazon stated that it would ship 1 There is a 2 month delivery timeframe fortunately, it only took five There is no stock on the IDSHOWUSA website, so it looks like this is the only place to get these bikes. I have not yet had much opportunity to evaluate the reliability of the bike, since it just arrived yesterday. Nevertheless, my first impression is this It is an amazing value! I can't believe how good this bike is! As a result, I now have 15 bikes in my garage, including numerous folding bikes (also called "Folders"), some of which I think this "unusual" bike looks great, as it has a curved main tube and is styled like my $700 Dahon Mu P24. This bike has a black paint job with a green trim sticker. It is possible to see that the black paint contains green metal flakes when it is out in the sun. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness! Of course, it's not a Dahon, and I knew that from the beginning. The bike is a Chinese copy with no name and I didn't have high hopes. There is a very good chance that bikes differ in quality. It took me some work to dial the bike in, but I'm an expert at bike repairs and adjustments, so I knew that some work would be required. There is no denying that this bike is what it is. Most of it is steel, and it will eventually rust, although the rate will depend on the environment and care you provide. A bicycle like this would be a bad choice for leaving outside, or keeping on a boat. There are few upgrades that can be made to most parts or that are In my opinion, this is a great kid's bike, or even a great weekend bike or one for the trunk of your car to keep in fair weather, unlike a bike that would work hard in the rain and mud during the day. You are better off setting realistic expectations up front, according to my experience. The downside of folding bikes is they can be cumbersome to transport. I got my bike from UPS in - The box is in good condition, with only a few minor paint scratches. Considering that the cardboard box had a split in it, the paint damage could have been much worse it's not worth returning since there were no dents or damage to anything, and the wheels spun smoothly Rims made of aluminum are good, but the spokes made of plain steel are In the long run, plain steel spokes will rust or corrode. I have a single child ( A speed Dahon boardwalk also has plain steel spokes, which have oxidized over time after being stored in the garage for the last 12 years. 1) The "Wanda" tires According to the tire's instructions, it should be inflated to a pressure of 43 PSI, which is a very low The better the tires, the less rolling resistance they will have under higher pressure. In order for the brakes and shifters to function properly, both needed to be adjusted. The process seems simple enough to me, but not everyone will find it to be so. You only need an adjustable wrench (or socket set), a Phillips screwdriver, and a metric Allen wrench set to work on a bike. The brakes work great once you adjust them with adjustment screws. They don't rub any longer, and they V-shaped handle on the brakes is made of aluminum, while the brake lever (handle) is made of steel It is steel that makes up brake arms. The Shimano grip shifter & the Shimano grip brakes Once the derailleur has been adjusted carefully, it works just fine. It is the 14th The 28 freewheel (not the cassette) provides plenty of gear range, and replacements are available on the market. Added lubricant to the chain that was clean and had a light layer A bike with a higher gear matches pedal cadence and a faster ride An example of the single-speed bike speed The beach cruiser has the speed of a fast car. In low gear, the ratio is exactly half that, which is suitable for There are 170 mm between the crank arms made of steel. Those who do not In case you don't know that the left pedal uses a left hand thread, folding pedals are very easy to install. It is not possible for the pedals to spin freely (yet), they have the feel of the cheapest part of the bike.

The handlebar is made from welded aluminum T-shaped tubing It doesn't change its height but its steel tube folds down to adjust the height. It telescopes to adjust the height and can be stabilized with the handle on top. Two Allen wrenches are included to adjust the lock tension (photo). The locking mechanism is solid and feels solid, too. Having a headset (steering shaft bearings) that fits properly is important, since binding and excess play should not occur. Using an Allen wrench, I rotated the brake levers as well as the grip shifter on the handle bar to suit my ergonomic preferences. With the bell and reflector, a Phillips screwdriver is needed to mount them on the handlebar. There is no mechanism to set the seat out of alignment. It comes pre-installed. With the seatpost, it is mounted at the right angle when viewed at right angles. A red reflector, with large diameter, is included to reflect light behind the bike. Taking hold of the quick release adjuster is made easier by a diamond knurling pattern on the seatpost. This item is engraved with a "Maximum height" line. As a 6-footer, I have a slim build In the right seat, the height is 1/2" and the left seat is 0" The seatpost rests about half an inch above the max line. I have never experienced a problem with this, because there is plenty of seatpost space left. The bike, which weighs 190 pounds, feels solid and has the same level of responsiveness as my more expensive Dahon. In order to fold the bike or adjust the seat and handlebar height, no tools are required. There is no flex in either of the adjusters nor the folding mechanisms (main tube or handlebar). One of the best things about this folder is its ability to fit every age range, from 4 years old to 80 plus. The distance between my feet and my 6 feet is 1/2 foot. When storing this bike, it is not quite as durable as my Dahon, but it folds easily. It is also a bit more clunkier than my Dahon when it comes to mounting. Its folded size is similar to this, but the pedals are not foldable. This model has a weight of 32 pounds, 8 pounds more than the Dahon Mu (steel versus We were pleasantly surprised by a few things Back of the vehicle This bike has been custom built with a locking kickstand, which can be operated by kicking the black lever in the middle, not the bottom. Besides the kickstand, the bike features a rear rack mounting area (dropouts). Taking the bike for a ride is fun, relaxing, and delightful. In all ways, you will find it smooth and responsive. When adjusted (after brakes and shifter work well), it provides a pleasant driving It is important to note that 20" wheel bikes (including Dahons) have a different feel and more rolling resistance than bicycles with larger wheels, such as To start, you will need to pedal more effort. The small wheels may also feel twitchy for the first few minutes. Twitchy becomes agile and maneuverable once it has been practiced.

Traveled from A to B The condition is 1 only
5/5

Folding bikes of this quality are very rare in the market. I am sure whoever packed this bike in the box was well aware of what they were doing. It was all wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard, and there were so many items it would be impossible for it to be As it turned out, it was just the pedals that I had to set up (I should have taken a picture of the packing, but I didn't think to) _ Assembly of this product was the easiest thing I've ever done for a 71-year-old woman. I still have to attach the reflectors and install the bell that was sent with the kit. (Most of the assembly time was spent taking off the packing. ) Those are the last few words. I did not even need to fill the tires with The device was purchased for when my grandson comes to stay, but I intend to use it more often. That's great, I love Purchasing this will make me happy and I think you'll be happy as well.

The frame is made from steel (not aluminum), but the welding is shoddy
3/5

Frames such as this are NOT made from aluminum. Since I was a teenager, I have been an avid bike enthusiast and mechanic. It was going to be my fifth folding bike, but I could see it wasn't going to be safe or durable as I expected. This bike's frame construction is so poor I've never seen a bad frame like this, but it has another big problem the bike is said to be aluminum, but it's actually Photo with magnet attached on the frame can be seen here.

A good value for the money
4/5

When I realized it was a Chinese product, my heart sank. It would have been nice if it had been designed and manufactured by an American company. All the Chinese products I purchased on Amazon in the last two years did not work for me consistently. Amazon does not disclose the country of origin of the products sold on its website (unfortunately). I found the instructions to be unclear, and I had trouble a) snapping the toggle onto the handle bar tube (the extension tube that was inside was facing the wrong way) , and b) folding the bike at the middle (did not realize that the safety pin was inside). It's not solely my fault that I've run into Although the gears did not work as intended, there are a number of ways that you can fix this Make sure the YouTube videos are adjusted properly. The first time you adjust the screws, it will be difficult. It takes some time to adapt to the changes . My bike seems to be quite durable, despite the fact that I have only done 60 miles on it. You can extend the saddle and handle bar quite a bit, as there is ample space between the saddle and the handles. A comfy saddle is not to be expected! Having a balance In terms of forgivingness, it is not as good as the regular size bikes, but after a while you will get used to In the end, I am pleased with the way that the bike has turned out, so far. My aluminum frame is removed from my boat, and I am hoping that it will rust.
