As a result of reading mostly positive reviews about the foldable mountain bikes, I decided to buy two. One for my wife, one for me.
Assembly was easy, gears were adjusted precisely. It was necessary to adjust the gears after the second time we rode since the cable tension had settled. By adjusting the knobs on the gear cable, one at each end of the shifter and one at the gear end, I adjusted the gears. Our bicycles are used to traveling on trails and we are not seeking to go down mountain sides or attempt serious off-road riding. While the bikes are a bit on the heavy end, the single main bar has to be rigid, and the bike feels rigid and runs smoothly with 30psi or more of air in the tires. Suspension is much better than you would expect and smoother than I thought it would be.
