It has been my pleasure to ride and build bikes for more than 30 As a bike owner, I have owned hundreds of bikes, and my two children are both big cycling fans. Buying this cruiser for my daughter was a great decision. This terribly made item is beyond belief that I paid such a high price for it. This motorcycle looks great in the picture but was clearly thrown together in a factory without any understanding of how to build such a thing. There is in fact a crooked frame and the wheels are quite difficult to level. Since the wheels are crooked, you can't even put the handle bars on without disassembling the bike, and since the gear and brake lines are routed to impossible angles, it will be impossible to line up the brakes. There is an extremely cheap feel and look to the accessories. There is a bent section of the chain guard. Each time the bike pedal passes over it, the guard strikes it.
In order to replace the inner tube on this bike, I had to take it to a bike store. During the testing, it was found that the spokes were too long, thus poking through the wheel cover and In order to fix the problem they had to replace the wheel cover as well. A repeat of this incident is likely to occur. In the time it would have taken to fix this bike, I could have bought a far more expensive vehicle. I made the wrong decision.
On the rear of the car, a tire tube The rear tire must be taken off, the tube removed, a replacement tube purchased, and the tire reinstalled. I have just taken the toy out of the box and I will get to see and ride it before my granddaughter sees The quality is poor given that the price is so high. The genders are also flimsy, but I hope they last.
Tire has a hole in it. It turned out, however, that one of the tire tubes was damaged. The tube broke after I bought it for my daughter for her birthday so I had to go buy another one. I was unable to get ahold of the company directly, so I wrote this review to see if I could get reimbursed or if I could get a discount off the bike as a result of.
I love how it flew, I love how easy it was to assemble, and I love how it rides. This is a really fun surprise! I didn't realize it had a bottle opener until I got it* look forward to taking it camping this summer!.
In the case of manufacture errors, Huffy won't provide assistance. This was purchased for my daughter in August 2019 and she is 12 years of age. The machine I used did not turn out as I expected. It was difficult to put together, the instructions were difficult to follow, and parts were bent and missing. People are going to say we bought it for many many years to come, but in reality it will last for only a few. It was just enough for us to fix the bent parts and to send in the missing ones. The snow-covered thing had been in the garage until last month, since we live in a state where it snows. She might be able to use it 3 if we have figured it out. In total, it lasted 5 months before it fell apart. I'm not talking about a small piece of plastic breaking, but the entire gear shift cracked and fell off while switching gears. This was too good to be true! Huffy should be able to help us, so we told her we would contact them. Wow, did I make a mistake! It does not matter to them that this happened since they only have a 6 month warranty. I think it is sad that they have not cared about a 12 year old who rides everyday to get outside especially at this time of CVID when they are selling bikes faster than they can manufacture. I was shocked at their response, considering how well aware they are of their responsibility. It was not a result of a rider error, but a product issue, based upon the information we received from a bike shop. The fact that they refused to help him horrified him.
Putting it together Seat posts and tubes are short and long, but the tube into which you slide the post is In the event you lose your grip on the seat post, it slides down and jams. There is an easy design trick that can be implemented by putting a small dimple in the seat post or Follow these tips Make sure you secure the seat post using a rubber band when making adjustments to the seat so that you won't risk it falling into the tube while you are working on the seat. You can tap two rubber mallets (or a hammer and wood block) lightly on the side of the tube (lightly) and the bottom of the tube (where the serial numbers are). If your seat post drops into the tube, it needs to be repaired. I have the most complaints about the seat post. They chose to ignore this headache, even though it would have been so easy to avoid. A poor design can be seen in the cooler in front. Hooks are too big for the cooler, and it must be hammered into place to fit. I keep the allen key and a couple of drinks in there, but it's mostly just a gimmick. It is shown near the handles in the video where the cup holder is located. It is too much movement so you shouldn't do this. The cup holder should be placed as close to the center as possible to minimize jostling. The depth is pretty deep, and the cans fit quite well in there. The brakes are quite out of whack, but that's almost standard for mail order bikes. If you want a bike that is well tuned, take it to a bike shop. Expect to pay up to $300 for it. After learning how to adjust the brakes on youtube, you can tune it yourself in five minutes. The seat is very generous and comfortable once you figure out how to adjust it to your height and angle of comfort. Without dropping the seat post into the tube, the seat itself is also very comfortable. Although I'm not sure how long it will stay like this, my first ride, as well as my brake positioning, were extremely easy to use.
Everything is adjustable, from the seat height and angle to the handlebar angle and brake position. This tool uses a soft squishy foam material that allows you to hold on without developing calluses on your hands. Sturdiness *br* It is important to note that everything seems flimsy and shoddy while assembling it. In any case, it's a $300 bike, so if you were to build this set during a pandemic, you wouldn't have one Unless you want to go off on a lot of runs, you're not going to win many races It's a bit pricey, but overall, it seems to be worth it. As always, YMMV.
My daughter is very short for her age, which makes biking difficult for her in the past. It was not possible for her to ride the bikes she wanted because they were typically very childish and not suitable for her. Simple to assemble and easy to use, this bike is great for the whole family. There are no gears or hand brakes to worry about. It is a nice touch to have the basket. In addition to a bluetooth radio, she likes to take a stuffed animal with her wherever she goes. As far as value for money goes, I gave this 4 stars since it's always nice to find something that's a little cheaper. The quality of the product is excellent.
