Questions & Answers

Currently, I'm a social worker, trying to figure out if a dwarf woman would be able to ride this bike. It is estimated that she is 50lbs, but her arms and legs are 12" long, and her height is 4'2". Can you assist?

I'm aware this posting is dated 2015, but if anyone else is in the same boat as me, here is what I have found. You can find better quality Trikes on the market by looking at A K- is what they have I have two Kompacts (10 and 11). Young adult), and Kompact R (made for rough terrain) which is suitable for people less than 5ft tall. There is a wide selection of models available. Everyone can do it, even little kids and teens. They are still expensive, though, so you will have to purchase them through an online bike store like Utah Trikes or a bike shop that specializes in them. This might be of some use to you.

Can this be given to a boy who is 20 months old?

For the best results, I would say that young children, about 5/6/7 years old, can participate.

Are you able to ride this on a dirt surface?

On dirt terrain, you can ride, but it can be tricky to steer in the event of large rocks, bumps, holes, or large holes. Although it may be too wide for her to ride it down our gravel road, she can still manage to ride it.

A free wheel without a chain is mentioned in the Details section. What does it mean?

In my opinion, they mean it as There is no chain on it. As soon as the wheel turns, the pedals stop spinning and stop rotating.

A great alternative for those with Although I rarely, if ever, write reviews of things I have purchased online, I decided to post one of these to help someone struggling with the same issue as our In addition to having CP, my son also has cerebral palsy
5/5

In six years, he will become a man. Throughout the years, we have tried different types of tricycles, and now, this year, he has been fitted to ride a special needs bicycle through his therapy center. Following the demonstration of the adaptive trike, taking pictures, and obtaining measurements, we were given a quote. Thanks to him being strapped in the trike, and being somewhat mobile, we were able to set up the home visit. a whopping $4866! It goes without saying that I was shocked and disappointed, as any parent would be, since we wanted our kid to be able to ride a bike for the simple pleasure of it. Not to mention, a bike is a developmental tool and would allow him to play with other kids. As a result, we did everything we could to provide him with a trike. However, after some thought, disappointment gave way In my opinion, the company is exploiting the fact that families are struggling and are desperate for anything they can do to help their children and it is at a great cost. My search for an alternative began within 15 minutes. I found this site immediately. Perhaps it was not intentionally addressing the very issues my son encountered, but it did so nonetheless. The adaptive pedals that I made for the bike are vastly improved over the $300 options I've found online for "special needs. " I purchased the bike and made the adaptive pedals. Christmas morning, Santa brought the bike to the house. The excitement of my son was contagious as soon as he sat inside the bike he began pedaling forward and steering it with his very first attempt. He became comfortable with it after a little while and is now moving around quite easily in the culdesac and street we live in. Though he still needs some practice, I was quite amazed by just how fast he was able to master the bike. Additionally, the bike's design is cool and different enough that other children find it appealing, which helps to erase some of the stigma associated with a special needs child. It appears that he has more difficulty on anything other than asphalt at the moment, though I think that eventually he will overcome it. some reviews where users were disappointed by the provided tools. My personal opinion is that they are I used my own bike, so it wasn't a problem for me. Maybe they'd be a bit better than if you used any other bike. This review is quite long due to the length of the book. From the beginning, I made the statement that I hope this would help someone in a similar situation and open the door for other children.

I am amazed! I really enjoyed it! I got this bike for my son, who has some physical and cognitive delays and was having a hard time learning to ride without or with As a result of his anxiety and having to balance and pedal while steering, he was unable to learn to drive a 2-wheeler For a minimum of two years, you should ride a wheel bike

Here we are. In the middle of the night, I had this idea and I was so thrilled it came to me. In no time at all, he had the bike constructed and riding it around our yard. After it was delivered 2 weeks later, he rode it in a kids triathlon. The product should be used on smooth, flat, paved The route has also taken us over grass, over hills, and through gravel (although it requires a lot of leg strength to go over gravel). Even though it is low to the ground and has 3 wheels, it could still topple over if you go down steep hills or around sharp curves.

So far, it appears to be doing what I hoped for, and he cannot get past
5/5

My son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was seven years old, so we purchased this as an economical starter bike for him. He loves it more than I could have imagined, and is always asking for more. We were not able to push ourselves to get this bike at our original price point since most recumbent bikes are between three and four times the price of this one. The one with the wheels is perfect for children, especially those with mobility issues. A pair of his shoes had zip ties attached directly to the pedals (basically the same as clip-on bike shoes) and it worked like a charm. It is only an indication of how much fun he is having that he has managed to flip it and end up with some road rash. In my opinion, this is a worthwhile purchase. It offers great exercise, the freedom of independence, the sense of pride, and really no negative aspects.

Wonderful to hear that she's getting a little bit more normal now
5/5

For my daughter, with both joint and muscle disabilities, I purchased this bike last year for Christmas. It took her a while to figure out how to steer the bike, but now, she can really whip it around with ease. I am glad she is getting a bit of a normal life as most 8-year-olds do Kids around her age - like her friends and other kids in the area - like to play with her. This week's update I'm still riding, my son 5 years old now rides the bike with me. Her growing length makes it difficult to fit something smaller for her. She still rides but is looking for a bigger sled.

The program was great for my son with special needs

The 6 year old in my family suffers from a rare genetic disorder, which causes gross motor delays, lower muscle tone, decreased core strength, as well as difficulties with Tonight he used the Mobo for the first time and he was able to ride! It was an exciting night for all of us! In fact, he was starting to steer the boat correctly.

The balancing beads are great for kids who are having difficulty balancing
5/5

The gross motor skills of my 5 year old child are limited by autism. We have tried almost every scooter and ride-on we could find, but it seems to be the Mobo that he really and truly likes! He is also so big for his age, so this fits just fine for him, and it can be worn for at least another two to three years, if not more, given that it is easily adjustable. In addition, I had no trouble assembling it, even though I am not very handy at all! You should be aware that it has a fairly large turning radius, but it does not affect The five stars are outstanding!.

Fun purchase, I had a good time with it
5/5

I bought this bike for my grandson, who is 7 years old. My nephew doesn't live locally, so I had to provide him with something to play on while he was in town. There was a great deal of success with this album. His first few tries riding the recumbent weren't that successful, but it was a breeze after he mastered it. He rode it every day for the month that In choosing this bike, I chose it as it was different and seemed like it would be able to grow with my son as he made annual trips to Nana's house. I had no problems with the bike's handling during turns or Although there is some cons, none of them are I found it difficulty to set it up, and it is very heavy and low to the ground, so it is awkward to move from my perspective as a grandparent. Even with the negatives, it was still an excellent purchase since my grandson was delighted by it and it achieved its purpose. According to him, he would like to pick it up at his place. The only reasonable option to get it to Australia is to ship it.
