1 inch. This is a block that raises or lowers the level of the ground. When the bike is placed on the cyclops trainer, a block is placed under the front tire to level the bike, and stackable blocks are used to raise the front tire to achieve the desired incline.
I don't think it's wide enough for a mountain tire; however, I use it as a bike trainer with a road bike, and the size and width are ideal.
The Leveling block will provide some stability, making it easier to mount the bike and increasing rider comfort by allowing the rider to sit in a more level riding position.
Greetings, Robyn. The difference between these two products is that the Cycle- The Ops riser block has three levels, allowing you to customize the height of your front tire, whereas the leveling block only has one height and one riding position.

The Saris logo was missing from the side of the block that I received. Another buyer had noticed this as well. I called Saris customer service to see if there had been any changes to the product. The customer service representative explained that no such change had occurred and that the product was not theirs. br>br>I'm going to return it. I paid more because I wanted a Saris product, then bought something else for half the price.
There isn't much to say about it; it's OEM, it does its job, and it feels solid. I'm not sure why these aren't included with athletic shoes. Either I'm not paying attention to how low I'm sitting in the road drops, or the riser is an inch too low. In any case, you must raise your front wheel or the trainer will be extremely uncomfortable.
I would have gotten a higher score if I hadn't been so eager to get started riding and give it a shot. It does the job and keeps the front wheel stable, but I had to put something underneath to raise it, which seems ridiculous. It needs to be redesigned to be more effective at its job.
The item arrived in a Saris bag, but the block does not look like the one in the picture. It's just a piece of black plastic. I'm certain it's a "Saris" block, and the lack of a logo doesn't rule it out as a forgery. I'm not returning it, but be aware that you will most likely not receive what is pictured, hence the three-star rating (1 star for lack of a logo'd product that matches what is advertised, 5 stars for a sturdy product that does what it says, for an average of 3 stars).
When using the indoor trainer, it is extremely helpful to keep the bike level. You'll feel like you're going downhill indefinitely if you don't do something. The hands are relieved of stress. It would have been better if the trainer had come with it.
Sturdy. There isn't any obvious elevation - it's reassuring. Consider the three-in-one or a lift block if that's what you're looking for. There are no complaints.
I purchased a multi-player game. If one of them is level, that's a good start. It's possible that's why it's called a climbing block because I've never been able to get my bike level using it. hmmmmm. Anyway, when mounted to my powerbeam pro, this one is perfect and keeps the front level with the back.
The fact that I had the bike level was the most important factor for me. Despite the fact that I'm a big guy, I've always felt as if my body was pressing down without the block. This is a fantastic piece that will help improve indoor cycling.
