Questions & Answers

Has anyone attempted this in a wahoo headwind? Is the fan mounted on the frame, as it would be with Wahoo's own computer stand?

I've got the Wahoo Headwind on my hands. The desk's frame is a little higher than Wahoo's, so the front two legs of the fan don't touch the ground when placed on it. It hits my torso and face because I have it pressed up against the front and the back legs tucked in.

What is the inside width of the room? I'd like to put it next to a fitness spinner bike with a 21-inch wide base. ?

A and I are the same size. Ayoade's: 5". You probably have an extra 1/8 or 1/16 inch to work with if your spinner base is close to that.

Can the desk surface be tilted upwards? I have a reclining bike, so the desktop must be able to tilt upwards. ?

It's not going to rotate, sir. You'd have to put something on the table to provide that tilt, but I'm afraid it'd just fall off. As needed, it raises and lowers, as well as FWd and Back.

Is the top big enough to hold a 24? A 32" tcl 32s327 tv has a 1" leg width? The weight of the television is only ten pounds. Is there a problem with the weight being supported?

The top measures 28" in width by 14" in depth. I believe it would be sturdy enough to support 10 pounds, but I would place the stand far enough away from your bikes so that it does not get knocked around.

Nice stand for the money, especially when compared to Wahoo
4/5

I've had my eye on the Wahoo desk for a few years now- It's way too expensive; for less than half the price, you can get a similar product with two cupholders and locking wheels. br>It's simple to put together. Make sure the locking wheels are at the ends of the axles, rather than in the middle. br>br>Advantagesbr>- Topped with an anti-slip mat, it's a nice material. br>- The buttons for adjusting the height are functional. br>- It's nice to have everything in black with blue accents. br>br>Consbr>- The RAD logo is a bit of a gimmick. I removed the stickers from the legs and am satisfied. br>br> If I run into any problems, I'll let you know.

So far, everything appears to be in order, but there is a snag
3/5

Previous reviews were positive, and it was certainly less expensive than a comparable product. br>br>The desk appears to be in good condition. So far, I've only used it once or twice. That's a plus because it's significantly larger than the stand I was using previously. It is yet to be seen how long the product will last. br>br>One of the wheels' threads was a little rough, so it didn't seat as well as the others. br>br>Here's an example of a significant usability problem: The desktop has built-in tablet and smartphone slots, according to the description. Yes, this is correct. The tabletop, however, is said to have "holes for cable management," according to the description. "br>Well, there are holes within the tablet/phone slots, but they are far too small to allow even a simple charging cable to pass through [I tried both Lightning and Micro USB]. " The current size of the holes is 5mm, which is insufficient. These gaps are completely ineffective. It appears that the only way to make them functional is to use a Dremel/knife/file to enlarge the holes; for example, if you have a phone sitting vertically in the designated slot, there is no way to have it plugged in and charging at the same time. without making any changes to the molded plastic work surface.

It's extremely adaptable and simple to use

"You get what you pay for," as the cliche goes
3/5

I wanted a desk in front of the trainer, but I didn't want to pay nearly twice as much as Wahoo wanted for theirs. Given some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to purchase this one, but I decided to give it a try anyway. That, unfortunately, was a blunder. The original desk and its replacement both have the same exact quality control issues: one of the buttons on one arm was inset much lower than it should have been on both desks I received. It was nearly impossible to press the button that raised and lowered the desk on the first desk; The second one was marginally better, but it was still poorly constructed. Finally, I decided to cut my losses and simply return the second for a refund. I'll eventually buy the Wahoo desk if I can stomach the price. However, you get what you pay for, as the old adage goes.

Even though it's still pricey, it's most likely worthwhile
4/5

I, like others, had given the $250 alternative a lot of thought; it's possible that the Wahoo version is somehow better, but I can't imagine it's worth twice as much. superior value for money The desk's footprint is larger than I anticipated, but that's only a drawback because I work from a small office. br>br>The assembly instructions are a joke (why is there a nut on the bolt on the castors? Is it for leveling? Is it something I actually require? Although these questions will never be answered, the overall assembly is fairly simple. Here's one thing to keep in mind: The "Rad" stickers on the inside of the table legs were the first thing I did when I put it together. I didn't think it mattered because the legs appear to be completely identical. The issue was that one side of the desk got stuck when you pushed the buttons to lift it up, so you had to pull it up with your foot on the base. There's no need to be concerned. But, just for fun, I disassembled it and reassembled it in the "proper" manner. Now it's time to push. The and-lift system is in excellent working order. Does this imply that the legs are slightly different and can be worn on either side? Don't you think the "instructions" would make that clear if that were the case? I'm still not convinced it makes a difference, but if you're in a pickle, it's worth a shot. If you're having trouble with your legs, try swapping them. br>br>The only other minor quibble is that the slots that hold up your phone or tablet (which work fine for me regardless of whether I'm wearing a case) have these cut-outs. outs at the bottom of the page - That's to allow you to run a power cord through them, I suppose? What a fantastic concept! Except I don't have a single micro-organism. A USB or iPad lightning cable that will fit through the cut-out is required. I'll probably end up melting or breaking something because running apps on a three-hour ride requires a lot of power.

There is a major flaw! I needed a desk for my bike trainer, so I ordered this one
3/5

Everything seemed to be going swimmingly until I put the top desk section together. When I put the left bar in, the piece on the left won't stay in place and keeps popping out. Two of the pieces will not stay in place because the holes were not properly drilled by the manufacturer. Last week, I purchased my first desk and was unable to keep it in place. My replacement arrived, but I'm still having the same problems; I tried swapping pieces between the two to see if something would fit, but it's still leaving a gap and it's unsteady. I'm afraid it'll collapse if I put my weight on it. I've secured everything with a lot of screws. Any ideas on how I might be able to resolve this issue on my own? I'm not interested in continuing with the replacement.
