Questions & Answers

Can anyone tell me what the black powdery substance on the floor beneath the rear wheel is from?

When using a trainer, make sure to rotate your tires because not doing so can result in uneven wear.

What axle widths are supported at the minimum and maximum?

I have the same question, and everyone seems to think they know the answer, but all I've seen so far is a lack of knowledge about the various axle types available. To be clear, QR (quick release) skewers are not compatible with all bikes. Only a threaded thru-axle can be used on many modern bikes. axle. I've had good luck with axles from the Robert Axle project and Kinetic's Traxle in previous trainers. The hubs on many new bikes are wider than they were previously. Alpcour is a good example of this. Could you please respond to this question directly? Is it possible to ride a bike with a rear thru-axle that measures 12x142? I understand that I will need to replace the axle on my bike, but my main concern is whether the dimensions are large enough to accommodate a bike with that axle width. The majority of trainers of this type are too narrow. Could you please elaborate on this?

Is it restricted in terms of weight?

This Heavy Duty Bike Trainer Stand is capable of supporting an unlimited amount of weight!

The skewer does not need to be removed if your bike has a bolt, according to the instructions. What is the meaning of tjat? What's the best way to tell if it's got a bolt?

Hello, If the rear wheel on your bike has a removable bolt that holds the wheels in place, the trainer will work perfectly. br>However, if the Bold is difficult to remove, you'll need to use the Included Quick-Replace. Skewer should be set free.

It was well worth the money! This bike trainer has completely transformed my riding experience
5/5

I enjoy biking, but due to pollution, poor air quality, and inclement weather, I am unable to do so on a regular basis. This has given me the opportunity to get involved in a whole new way! Fit: br>br>Size: br>br>Size: br>br>Size br>As you can see from the photos, my beach cruiser fits perfectly; it's very sturdy, and I found it simple to adjust the wheel gizmo that provides resistance and stability. Also, the resistance-changing cord that attaches to the handlebars is quite long, and I've never had an issue with it getting in the way of pedaling. Storage: br>br> br>It folds up fairly flat and comes with a good bag for storage and transportation. br>br>I'm not an elite athlete, but from the perspective of a regular person, this has been very easy to use and does exactly what it should.

Trainer is excellent
5/5

I've been riding road bikes for years, and winter training is essential before the spring season. Having owned other brands of trainers in the past, I strongly suggest the Alpcour. The magnetic flywheel, in combination with the 6 position resistance module (clamped to the aero bar), creates the ideal combination of gear shifting and resistance settings for cadence and a solid workout. Because the basic engineering design of my Cyclops brand was flawed, it was a pain to work with. The Alpcour is strong, incredibly smooth, much quieter than other models, and easy to set up. I can't say enough good things about this product, especially for the price of $100. It's impossible to make a mistake with the number 00. I'd go with the Alpcour over a $300 bet. On any given day, I'd rather have a 00 trainer. Excellent value for money, a great trainer that is well-made and of high quality.

It's a little noisy (for a mountain bike), but it gets the job done
4/5

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I don't have a road bike; I have a mountain bike, so I'm aware that my tires aren't as "nubby" as those on a road bike, which could account for the majority of the noise, but it's still incredibly loud, even on the lowest setting (to the point of shaking my house). The gear setup cable is also a little inconvenient because it gets in the way of the pedals, so you have to position everything strategically to keep it out of your way. It serves its purpose, no doubt, but the minus one star is due to the fact that it claims to be compatible with both road and mountain bikes, and specifically advertises noise reduction, which is not the case with a mountain bike. If you choose to get this and have a mountain bike or are okay with the loud noise, perhaps think twice or get a spare, smoother tire for your bike.

I wish I could love it as much as you do
3/5

I'll be honest: I really want to like this trainer, but I'm having a hard time. There are a few things with which I am having serious difficulties. 1. br>br> The advertised 'quietness' is actually quite noisy. For me, it's extremely loud. It's a little more difficult to concentrate on training as a result of this. In addition, I own a road bicycle. br>2. While I had anticipated some tire wear, I had not anticipated this much in 1-year. I'm concerned that my tires will not last as long as they should if this is the case.
3. I'm having a hard time dealing with the opposition. Maybe it's because I'm more accustomed to outdoor resistance, but this doesn't seem to provide a realistic simulation of the resistance or incline I'd experience outside. br>br>I'm not claiming to be a pro or anything: However, for these reasons, I find it extremely difficult to train properly indoors. But that is just my opinion.

It's super simple to set up right out of the box, and it only takes ten minutes
5/5

The training stand arrived quickly, and I was able to use it right away. as stated in the description It was incredibly simple to put together, and the front wheel stand is a huge bonus. It's peaceful – I have this in the attic space, so I'm leaving it set up, but I imagine it would be fairly simple to store in a spare bedroom or have leaned up in the living room and pulled out when you want to use it - 3x7 foot will work anywhere there is floorspace. The more convenient it is to use, the more likely you are to do so; It's almost time to make your New Year's resolutions!.

Review
4/5

I just finished a 30-minute workout and found the equipment to be very useful. It appears to be well-made and heavy-duty. However, while this trainer is a five-star product, the instructions for setting it up are abysmal! There are no pictures or clues as to what's what. It wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been for a set of circumstances. I would have returned it if I had found a similar video on YouTube. I'd say the set up was simple if you know what you're doing and don't need any instructions. I have a hybrid bike and had a hard time finding a suitable location for the controller on the handlebars and front stem. Also, I'm not a pro at riding a road bike, and I purchased this device because my gym was closed due to a virus. So now, if it's raining or very cold outside, I can work out in my garage, and while I could disassemble and repair all aspects of a 3-wheeler, I can now work out in my garage. It's possible that you'll have to remove the quick release on the back wheel of your bike and use theirs, just like I did when I was a kid, and something I worked on in my younger days is still sitting on the moon's surface. I'm not sure at all. However, I would not do so because I would inevitably make a mistake, and if I had to, I would have returned the device. I'm not sure what level of difficulty is considered acceptable. If you're a fit cyclist who enjoys speeding up hills, read other reviews to learn more about the levels of difficulty and how they change as you turn the knob from 1 to 6. Because that isn't me, I am content with what it can accomplish.

For a bike with rear-axle gear controls, the adjustability is insufficient
3/5

Unfortunately, the sidewall of the tire is rubbing, despite the fact that my rear axle meets the required measurement. Please refer to the first image. Because I don't have a quick release skewer on my Electra because of the way the gears work, the entire bike shifts to the left in the turbo trainer (looking from the back) and the tire rubs aggressively. Yes, it's up to 60 pounds when fully inflated. Because the resistance wheel assembly is welded to the trainer's frame, shifting it around will not solve my problem. I'm unable to change the 'cup' on the non-adjustable non-adjustable non-adjust enough on the lever side to solve the rubbing problem AND still be able to operate the lever to secure the bike. It's on its way back. That's a shame, because it's a very strong piece. Aside from the sound of my sidewall grinding down, it was eerily quiet. It's on mats in my house. This would be ideal if your back axle had quick release levers.
