Questions & Answers

Is there an under-seat clip attachment that goes with it? Does it not appear in the photograph?

There is a clip in the back that attaches to the seat, this is the best bike bag I've ever owned, and inside the flap there is a pocket where I keep

Do you have to use the seat strap or can you just use the seat clamp?

In theory, you could do that, but the bag would be less stable since it is connected to the handle Grabbing onto only the seat clamp would cause the clamp to wiggle around a lot more.

Would it be better to get the small or medium size bag? Patch kit with tubes and 1/2 levers, lipstick battery pack and food bars should be used. ?

It's better to go with the large size. With room for spare tubes, CO2, a bike tool, a wallet, keys, and more, I can still fit It also has a larger tail light strap so it fits larger tail lights. Those big lights I use will not fit in the medium pack that I use.

It suits my needs to buy a large size
5/5

It's very nice! I like the bag a lot! There are about 5 L in volume, and I was able to cram quite a bit of things into it without expanding the middle compartment at all. Initially, I couldn't fit my phone into that pack, but the pack would expand if I got the appropriate size. In one of the pictures you can see how well it fits a petite lady's Only one issue is that the outer zipper sticks out from the fender when it is fully zipped up. Considering that I do not know how annoying this will be, I can wrap some tape around it if it clicks too much. This allows a flat kit to fit in the bottom portion of the bag before it flares out, leaving the larger part of the bag free for other In the bottom of the pack, I managed to fit a spare innertube, tire wrenches, CO2 cartridge plus dispenser, plus foam, with room to spare. There were also my camera, a pair of gloves, a compact lock, and my entire set of keys inside my helmet liner. If I did not have the clothing, I might be able to get my phone in, and if not, I could expand my My selection of this bag was based on a number of factors Under the seat there is a "click" type of mechanism to attach the rear light. The angle of the back allows for mounting a taillight. Please provide measurements and a description of the size and how it will fit on the bike. I was pleased to see that it is angled in such a way as to prevent my legs being bothered while pedaling and also fits under the seat without a lot of bulk hanging My favorite feature is the click attachment under the seat, so I can take all my goodies with me if I have to leave my bike. It really cost a lot for me to assemble all these items, and I would hate to lose them. Despite my initial doubts, I found the locking mechanism easy to install under the seat - the slots for the rails are approximately 4 1/2 cm apart, so it was a little hard to guess when I eyeballed it, but the lock worked perfectly once it was installed. In case the plastic breaks, it is also possible to get a replacement mechanism. This review will be updated if the bag doesn't work for me, but so far the bag has been satisfactory.

There have been no refunds received so far -- Saddle can only be too far forward if it's not too far back. EDIT. I am using this review to inform Amazon of my failure to receive the $31 since it is so difficult to contact them. There will be a refund of 19 On my Discover Card statement, there is no indication that I have received a refund from Amazon or the seller. I use to have a Topeak bag that attached to the saddle rails, but I prefer it. As a result, it wasn't possible to clip the straps back together without using bad language if the straps were excessively tightened. It was then that I realized I had another bag that clips onto it I can see why that would be a good idea. It seems there is some problem with the clip because the relief areas are at the width between the straight I located my saddle so far forward that the rails spread out towards the rear, the reliefs didn't fit the rails, and the clip would not attach. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about it. There's no relief on the part of the bag with the clip, and the clip can be attached at any point along the rail. This product has been returned to the company.

A large (expandable) pack almost meets all the criteria for a perfect score
5/5

Five stars because there are so few quick release seat bags available and this one practically meets all of them. This is 164CI- ) but installing a Thudbster seat post with a parallelogram mechanism up top resulted in stress displacement from when rotating on and off over the course of over a year, resulting in the breakage of its receiving part. Easily drag and tab in and out as you need it The back of the locks is locked It is highly unlikely you will encounter It's unclear if there will be a fix for the unlucky folks reporting instances of the pack's leading edge being too long, contacting the seat post and making it impossible to use the QuickClick. The direction the saddle is positioned will have an effect, since the clamp of this bag can only attach to the flat parts of the seat rails, not the angled parts of the seat rails that are at the back of the bike. I don't think there's any doubt about it Topeak attaches the female part of the QuickClick pair in front of a lot of bag. This large bag might not fit under your seat if your seat is very forward (regardless of whether it's expanded or not since it extends The medium size of this product would probably be best for you in that case. Due to the flexible nature of fabric, there is always some slack. There's enough clearance for at least a short-travel Thudbuster shock-absorbing seat post when using this bag, providing that you don't clamp it forward on its rails. Lastly, you need at least six inches between your bag and the forks. A large size backpack has a space between the bottom of the seat rails and the bottom of the nose of the bag of 5". My major advantages and requirements are the size of the bag (expanded, it has a capacity of 120ci) and the quick release features The many expensive tools and components I store in this bag allow me to carry it to coffee shops, etc. I like the design of the rear hatch, which only allows it to open parallel to the ground before it crumbles up, making a sort of It's a nice touch to have the mesh pocket in the It would have been nice for Topeak to extend the mesh to both sides of the inside as well. If the rear section were expanded, then the forward section could have pockets, as well as mesh sleeves As a result, both configurations of users could be served. Also, it would be nice if the bottom were reinforced with the same plastic material used to shape and reinforce the top (I was able to salvage the bottom section of a broken Novara bag, and it nestles against a seam beautifully. Lastly, I received one that is all black with no white or silver. It has the same top and bottom fabrics as pictured, but this top is as black as the bottom.
