There is no way to mount this speaker mount on a bar that is more than 6 inches in diameter.
This unit should hold the majority of speakers when placed on stands. I have a Xeneo tube speaker which is the perfect size. In a similar manner to the JBL
As for how small it is, I guess it would be dependent on its dimensions, but if it's no bigger than 2" or so. This is not going to work, I think.

0 The one I was looking for finally found me. Exactly what I needed and fits perfectly The website is secured very well. Simple to set up & easy to use The device is turned off while it is being charged or adjusted. The product is highly recommended for portable speakers, whether large or small.
This is mounted on a Trek hybrid bike and the JBL Charge 3 system is mounted on the bike. A Bluetooth speaker that weighs about 3 ounces. This is what I weigh. It is installed on the down tube with the speaker and mount attached. Velcro is of the highest quality. It's odd because I ride more than 60 miles each week on mostly paved bike trails without ever moving my speaker. This is a great product!.
Velcro straps on this mount seem to work only when the bike tube and the speaker are fairly large in diameter. It's too long for my steel frame road bike (a Surly Steamroller), and the Velcro straps can't snugly attach to the frame of my bike. I have also found that the straps on my speaker (a Zealot S1) are too long for them to fit snugly on it. The speaker rattled out of the mount and fell onto the road when it was loosely strapped around my top tube. Although I tried to fix it, it eventually slipped around my top tube and fell out.
I picked these speakers because I liked that they come with two straps to hold the speaker and three to hold the bar. My RZR hasn't arrived yet, but these speaker holders seem to do the job well. Unlike the others, most of them only had one strap to hold the speaker in place.
It's great how well this mount works! Mounted on my handlebar, it provides a great deal of comfort. Besides the fanny pack that holds my phone, I have a fanny pack at the bottom. My Sony speaker is secured to this mount while I am riding, and it releases quickly and easily when I want it to. get rid of the straps, but I like the fact that I can use a different size speaker and still be fine. I have been using this daily for over a month and it still works just as well as it did when I first bought This is a fantastic product, and I highly recommend it.
There's no need for the velcro to wrap as tightly as possible. There seems to be a need for a thick frame to hold it up. Probably not going to be able to get it onto handlebars. I've decided to just install another drink holder for my speaker instead as it's kind of annoying to put on before a ride.
For me, this is a dual purpose You can ride a bike in a golf cart. A large and quite heavy speaker is attached to my desk. It was extremely important to me to keep it secure! When worn on this mount, you will never have to worry about losing it. There were also concerns about scratching the paint on my bike, but I did not have to worry. Surfaces mounted on this system are covered with soft leather.
