I hope you prefer the medium, unless you have a particularly large or bulky wallet. My medium size bag is full of 3 CO2 bottles, a small patch kit, 2 tire levers, one multi tool, and one tube.
It rubs my legs no problem for me because it's medium sized. I am not sure about the large size, since their front sizes seem to be about the same, but the size difference appears on the back, so it is not an issue. It is my hope that it will help.

The second one will be here soon. As expected, this item is in good condition. I could easily attach it to my bike's seat and it fit well on my bike. Additionally, I had no problem using the USB LED lights I had purchased from Blitzu. In the Large strap on bag option I purchased, I was able to fit two tubes, a tube removal tool, a utility tool, three CO2 cartridges, and a CO2 inflator. My first ride will be tomorrow, but I have not had a chance to try it out yet.
The Large size worked out to be the best fit for me The number five. As a whole, it is a decent size. A good to very good build quality has been achieved. It has a mesh/net pouch (you can use it to store folded up 20 dollar bills, etc) and a nice zipper. There was a review claiming that the flap opens upwards (it DOES NOT), and that all material falls on the ground as a result. The bag was installed upside down by the person who mounted it. (This is the complete opposite of what the photos in that review will lead you to believe) It mounts as any other seat bag on earth. As far as I can recall, my seat bag mounts well and doesn't make any noise or do anything that any other seat bag I've ever had has. The product I bought is exactly what I was looking for!.
When I have my phone in an otter case and a set of keys I fit my iPhone 6 into the small size. Those were the only two things I wanted to include. There is a possibility that you will need a larger one if you plan on carrying anything other than your phone and keys. If you own the plus size iphone or Samsung Note you will need a larger size, but remember to measure the space between the rear wheel and the seat.

My tire pump is mounted to the frame of the medium and if it wasn't, I would have had to return it. It is utterly disgusting to me how straps work. There are 8x more strap than there needs to be on one strap and hardly enough on the other. It leverages in all the wrong places and attaches to the most inconvenient places. To the point that if I'm concerned about the contents of the bag being stolen, I remove each item from the bag without taking it In this case alone, I might choose a bag with a clip and Velcro mounting system instead, simply for the convenience of being able to take it off and put it back on without a struggle.
