Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use threaded or unthreaded CO2 cartridges with this?

Only available in threaded.

Is there a set of CO2 cartridges included?

Yes, two CO2 cartridges are included.

How high can it go in terms of psi?

It is determined by the size of the CO2 cartridge you are using. I believe a 16 g cartridge has a pressure of 100 psi +/-. On the packaging, there is a flow chart to assist you in determining which cartridge size will best suit your needs.

What is the product's dependability and ease of use?

It's dependable as well as simple to work with. It's the most basic of mechanisms: screw the valve onto the storage tank and gently open it. The valve knob can be used to change the flow rate. One word of caution: the apparatus becomes extremely cold during use, which is why an insulator is included to slide over the CO2 cartridge. However, once you've inflated the tire/tube, having some gloves handy to remove the apparatus (or waiting until it warms up) is a good idea. I no longer carry a regular air pump with me. This is a huge improvement.

Tried- CO2 Inflator that is tried-and-true
5/5

The original Red Zeppelin CO2 tire inflator, made of metal and built to last with a tried-and-true design. design that is tried-and-true It's dependable and simple to use. I held off on writing a review until I had firsthand experience with the product. After removing the thorn and replacing the tube, it took less than ten seconds to install the cartridge and inflate the tire (700C x 32) using one of the two included 16g cartridges. I didn't have a tire gauge with me, but I estimated the pressure based on (pinch-point-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure-pressure Anyone looking for a compact, lightweight, reliable, and easy to use bike tire inflator should look no further. This is the right one for you.

I used this for the first time last night, and I thought I had closed the inflator valve, but CO2 rushed out
5/5

As a result, I changed my procedure to: Screw inflator to tube valve, screw on CO2 cartridge, open inflator valve to inflate tire; it's very small/lightweight; the red boot on the cartridge isn't easy to remove, so I just tossed it. To avoid burns, as with any other CO2 inflator, you must be careful not to touch it when it is cold.

This is a very useful item
5/5

This useful little gem has come to my rescue three times. It's not practical for topping off your tires before riding (a pump is better for that), but it stows away nicely for road use. True, the valve functions more like an on/off switch than a regulator. You can control it a little if you're careful, but it's not necessary. A 16-gram cartridge will inflate a flat 700x23 tire to around 100 psi (/-). Simply attach it to the presta valve with a screwdriver. reopen it - voila - The air pressure in your tire is at its maximum. br>br>Before you use the cartridge, make sure to attach the little koozie. It gets extremely cold very quickly, as I discovered the hard way. On a 110-degree South Texas day, I never expected to end up with frost bite-like burns on my fingers. However, I did it. br>br>I got mine for free thanks to Amazon Reward points on my Amazon Chase Visa card. Chase!.

It's simple to do
5/5

After using a mini pump for a while, I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was to use this CO2 inflation for the first time: simply close the red valve, screw in a CO2 cartridge, screw the chuck onto your presta valve, and open the red valve (be careful not to hold the CO2 cartridge because it gets very cold very quickly). br>br>As others have stated, the knob simply toggles between on and off. It is unlikely that you will be able to control the flow with it. The key is to know what size cartridges you need for your tire, so practice at home if you have access to a floor pump with a gauge. My 27 x 1 will be supplied by a single 16g cartridge. Tire pressures range from 0 to 65 psi on a 25" tire. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than walking to get me to a floor pump. With my 700 x 25c, 0 to 100psi, it's almost perfect. br>br>I haven't had any problems with my inflator leaking as the tire reaches pressure, as another reviewer suggested.

It comes highly recommended! Three century rides later, I was able to assist three riders with flat tires
5/5

One had a push mech inflator, and because the rider was inexperienced, he lost a lot of air. Because this inflator screws onto the valve (both presta and schrader), no air is lost when the cartridge is used. The majority of the others are mechanical push valves, which can result in air loss if not used properly. This is not the case. It comes highly recommended!.

Inflator that works well
5/5

For my bike and motorcycle, I've used a few different types of inflators. This one appeals to me more than the older ones I had that lacked a valve. As soon as you screwed those things onto your valve stem, they started releasing air. This one is much more user-friendly. br>br>However, be cautious with the valve, as it functions more like a switch: It can only be turned on or off. You can't control how much air comes out with the valve. As a result, be wary of overdoing it. br>br>Another thing I like about this inflator is that it can inflate your tire. well. The red foam bumper that comes with one of the two C02 cartridges appears to be a bit lame, but I really like it. When those things clink together in your seat pack, it's enough to drive you insane. You did an excellent job!.
